Introduction

The Blip Speech-to-Text extension allows you to add voice comprehension capabilities to your Intelligent Contact through audio file transcription. For example, if you have an Intelligent Contact with a conversation flow ready to autonomously interact with the customer, but you receive an audio file on WhatsApp, you can inform the customer that you need to interact via text. With the Blip Speech-to-Text extension, you can add a block to your flow to transcribe the audio files received from the customer, enabling you to interact with them solely through voice.

How It Works

Blip Speech-to-Text is an extension that utilizes a speech-to-text API, making it easier to integrate Blip's proprietary transcription technology into the Intelligent Contact. 

The extension allows for:

• Seamless integration of the technology into the conversation flow.
• Automatic transcription of audio in Brazilian Portuguese. 

Additionally, Blip Speech-to-Text includes a content moderation stage that automatically filters any toxic, offensive, or inappropriate content. 

If toxic content is detected, the API will return "CONTENT_FILTER" in the status field. This way, you can choose the message you want to send in response to your user.

Installation and Configuration

Upon activating the extension from the Blip Store, it must be installed in the bot. This extension cannot be installed on routers.

Using the Extension

When the extension is installed via the Blip Store, it will appear in the bot's options menu with the name "Blip Speech-to-Text".

Upon installing the extension, if you haven't subscribed to the Blip AI Suite, you will be redirected to an error page. However, if you have already subscribed to the Blip AI Suite, you can start the configuration process for Blip Speech to Text.

The first step is to create a credential that will be used to authenticate the API. You can create the credential by clicking on the "Add Credential" button located in the right sidebar.

After creating your credential, to start using the transcription mechanism in the bot's flow, you need to access the extension and click on the "Add New Circuit" button located in the right sidebar.

When you click on the button, it will simply take you to the Builder, where you will find a pre-built example circuit containing 5 blocks that exemplify the use of the transcription technology. You just need to connect these blocks to the desired flow of your bot.

Note: The extension is only available in the Portuguese language.
