Usage Examples For many people, working with spreadsheets can be a challenging task, as it requires not only entering data, but also efficiently and correctly managing this information on a daily basis. In the context of customer service, this challenge becomes even more complex, especially for those who deal with a large volume of tickets and customer information. Thinking about improving agent service, we developed the Google Sheets extension for Blip. Our solution was created to optimize the service process and facilitate data management for everyone. Look at this situation: a company was facing a high volume of tickets and needed to improve access to information. Information about your customers was scattered in different places, causing slowness and difficulties in finding them. To resolve this, the company decided to create a spreadsheet in Google Sheets with information such as “Full Name”, “Email”, “Phone”, among other important data. Upon discovering the extension, they integrated Blip with Google Sheets, creating an automated flow to manage this information. With the platforms synchronized, agents began to quickly access a customer's complete history directly on Blip. This allowed us to personalize interactions and resolve problems much more efficiently. For example, when receiving a new ticket, the agent consults the spreadsheet, checks whether the customer has already faced similar problems and applies already tested solutions. The result? More agility in service and a better experience for the customer. To integrate the Google Sheets for Blip extension with your bot, see the following tutorial! Integrating Google Sheets into the Blip Builder flow To configure the extension, access the Builder and click on "+" → "New Block" (on the left side). It will be displayed in the right corner of the "New block" screen. Then click on "Text". Enter the desired variable. Then click on “User input”. Activate “Save answer to variable”. Enter the name of the desired variable. After creating the blocks with the variables, access the “New Integration” section on the left side to integrate with your Google Sheets spreadsheet. In the left corner of the screen, the new integration panel will appear after adding the new block. Click on “Integration”. A list of integrations will appear. Select “Google Sheets”. In this step, you can configure the actions for your block. Choose the desired action. In this example, we use “Add new line”. To set up this action, you'll need the ranges and column names from your Google Sheets spreadsheet. Then, integrate the blocks. After defining the “Add new row” action with your spreadsheet information (range and columns) and the integration between blocks, your configuration is complete. The data generated by the blocks will automatically be sent to the Google Sheets spreadsheet at the specified interval whenever the action is triggered. That’s it, your extension can now be used!
