What is the WhatsApp Conversations Consumption Report?

It is a personalized area that gathers consumption metrics for the WhatsApp channel and is only available to customers who are already charged for this channel.The report displays all the information received from WhatsApp, so you can track your estimate billing.

You can access the Report through your Contract Panel, available to all users with an Admin profile.

The WhatsApp Conversations tab will be available on the left side menu.

To whom is the WhatsApp Conversations Consumption Report?

The Report is for the person responsible for monitoring WhatsApp Conversations consumption. Its main benefits are:

• visibility of the contracted volumes and 
• predictability of consumption volume by metric (the volumetry) that will be charged in the next billing cycle.

When one knows the current volumetry, it is easier to analyze, for example, whether the launch of a new campaign will cause additional charges at the end of the month or not.

Who has access to the WhatsApp Conversations Consumption Report?

Customers who are charged for WhatsApp conversations and already had their chatbots migrated (i.e., those who are now under "contract view") can access the Report. The Report is available to customers with an Admin profile on the platform.

How often the data from the Report is updated?

The values counted for the closing of the month will be available within 5 business days from the last day of that same month. Prior to that, it is possible that the displayed values do not correspond 100% to the period's consumption. The data is supplied to us by Meta on a daily basis and it immediately appears on the Report.

How can I track my consumption data using the Report

The Report will be updated daily with data supplied directly from Meta. The Report is divided into 3 sections: Summary, Phone Number and Daily Conversation Count.

In the Summary section, you can find 3 subsections: User-Initiated Conversations, Company-Initiated Conversations and Total of Conversations. User-Initiated Conversations are those initiated when a customer sends a message to your smart contact. Company-Initiated Conversations are the same as Active Messages (i.e., messages sent from your smart contact to your customer). Finally, the Total of Conversations is the sum of all types of conversations that have taken place.

To view both paid and free conversations, use the top left menu to access the consolidated sums. Before the end of each month, a tag “Partial consumption” will be displayed next to the name of your plan. After the 5th business day of each month, this tag will be removed.

In the Phone Number section, you can view the total number of messages sorted by Number and category.

The tabs for Company-Initiated Conversations and User-Initiated Conversations are displayed in a single view. The total number of messages sent using a given category will be displayed according to the Phone Number from which the WhatsApp message was sent.

At the end of each line, you can find the total number of messages sent by that number grouped by category.

In the Daily Conversation Count section, you can also view a tab for Company-Initiated Conversations and User-Initiated Conversations.

In this section, it is possible to check the daily count of conversations, separated by categories. In addition, it is also possible to check the total sum of messages, from the column titled Total.
