Is each spotting considered a new publication within the research?
No. Each publication represents a 1-minute audio segment, which may contain 1 or more spotting within that interval.
Do the Group terms in the Research Configuration affect Sonora's data collection?
Yes, Group descriptors related to any terms in the audio or video transcription will result in the publication being collected, similar to text publications.
Is it possible to collect new data sources using Sonora?
Yes. Initially, we collect from sonora, YouTube, Twitter, and podcasts. As Sonora is a transitioning technology, the expectation is that any audio source can be collected. You can also request specific audio sources to be collected through STILINGUE's Custom Service.
