Can I respond to Google Play comments through STILINGUE? When connecting my proprietary pages to STILINGUE, is it possible to retrospectively collect inbox data? Yes, the option of automatic inbox collection is valid for some networks. See the collection deadlines for each: Facebook: the last 100 conversations from the past 2 days are collected. Twitter: the last 100 conversations from the past 7 days are collected. Instagram: the last 25 conversations received on the page are collected. Are Instagram IGTV format posts collected by STILINGUE? Yes, however, the format does not differ from other video content published on the social network. Instagram itself has stopped sharing the content in a specific tab. In STILINGUE, you will have access to these publications in Listening, Proprietary Metrics, and you can also respond to comments through STILINGUE Smart Care. Limitations Due to API limitations, mentions of proprietary pages in IGTV posts are not collected. How is the collection of YouTube comments on proprietary posts done? YouTube collects posts (videos) from proprietary channels, but comment collection is not always guaranteed by the network. Therefore, YouTube may not deliver all comments on a video. Given this limitation, for STILINGUE Smart Care, the collection interval is approximately 30 minutes. How do I find the post ID in Proprietary Metrics? To locate the ID, simply access the advanced options on the post card and click on the corresponding icon, as indicated in the image below: How do I change my permission within the network? It is important to note that only the permission on the advertising account will be changed. Permission on LinkedIn and STILINGUE remains the same. Here's how to make this change: 1. Log in to your LinkedIn account; 2. Go to the Solutions menu; 3. Click on the icon with the description "Advertise"; After that, you will be redirected to the campaign manager; 4. Select your page; 5. Click on the name of your page and then select the person who will have the manager role; 6. Save the changes. How does the collection of comments on Dark Post publications work in STILINGUE? Within STILINGUE, a dark post represents a type of paid publication within the social network itself that is sent/displayed to a specific group of users. This same post does not appear on the timeline of other pages and profiles, as it has been targeted. Even if a publication has been collected, it is not guaranteed that all its comments will also be included in the search. This is because comments made after 30 days from when the dark post was created are no longer monitored, meaning they are not collected by the search. More recent comments on older posts may also be excluded from monitoring. How does the collection of comments on organic Instagram posts work? It is enough for the publication to be collected for all comments on these publications to be included in the search, regardless of the date the publication was made. Similarly, if an organic post has not been collected, its comments will not appear in the search. How is the Average Reach calculated? Before explaining how the average is calculated, it is important to highlight the behavior of Total Reach, present in the Engagement Pyramid graph. Reach is a metric sent by Facebook and counts the number of users who had the page's proprietary posts displayed on the screen, that is, saw the post. This number represents unique users, regardless of whether the same user saw the same post more than once. The Average Reach then retrieves this number represented by the Total Reach and divides the value by the days of the analyzed filter. Therefore, the formula is as follows: Average Reach = Total Reach / Number of days in the filter. After connecting the page, is it possible to collect retrospective data? Yes. The last 100 posts from the last 30 days will be automatically collected. In addition, comments will also be counted. Is it possible to collect retrospective data from Google Play? When connecting your proprietary page to STILINGUE, the collected data will include the last 500 reviews on your page. For retrospective data exceeding this review limit, the retrospective collection rules of the Google Play API allow the collection of reviews up to 7 days prior. If this functionality is needed, it is necessary to contact Customer Service via chat to implement it. Can data be exported from the Overview area? Currently, it is not possible to export information from the Overview in Proprietary Metrics. However, you can apply the same filter to the Publications area and export from there. In the export report, you will find interactions such as likes, comments, shares, among others. Additionally, you can also use other areas of the side menu with similar information and export the data. Can I collect ads placed on LinkedIn by STILINGUE? Yes. By connecting your LinkedIn page to the STILINGUE platform, you will have access to organic posts and advertisements. For the second option to be included in the search, you will need access within the ad account. You must have access to all ad accounts you wish to collect. Remember that this permission is granted on LinkedIn. The person who connected the page within STILINGUE, with regular admin access, must have one of the three accesses on LinkedIn to collect dark posts: Account Manager; Campaign Manager; Creative Manager. This measure ensures that ad collection is performed correctly. Without this permission, ad collection will not function. My search has reached its limit and has been paused. Is there retrospective data for Proprietary Metrics in this case? Yes. After removing excess posts for the panel to resume collection, a retrospective collection will be executed in the Proprietary Metrics area, considering the same rules for connecting proprietary pages: For Twitter connections, retrospective collection covers the last 200 posts from the past 7 days; For other networks, the latest 100 posts from the past 30 days will be automatically collected (comments will also be counted). Important! There will be no retrospective collection of mentions made to the Instagram page. Remember that if you quickly free up space on your dashboard, you probably won't lose any data. Learn how to do this process in the guide. In Proprietary Metrics, do comments collected via Compare Fanpages appear as anonymous users? Before explaining how the collection is done for pages registered as competitors in Compare Fanpages, it's important to define what a competing page is. When registering pages in the Compare Fanpages section, in Proprietary Metrics, you begin to evaluate the engagement metrics of these pages compared to your brand's Facebook page. Therefore, each registered page compared to the proprietary Facebook page is called a competing page. Since the collection of Compare Fanpages only happens for organic posts, comments are presented as anonymous users. On the other hand, posts made by any page (including the competing page) in Listening appear with identified names and photos. What happens to the comment status in STILINGUE Smart Care when I respond to the page user through Proprietary Metrics? When you respond to the user, the status becomes marked as responded. By accessing STILINGUE Smart Care and filtering by the status responded, the comment will appear in this filter. If the conversation does not receive any new interaction, the status that remains is the one applied previously. To return to pending, it is necessary for the user or another user to make a new interaction in the same conversation. What is Digital Score? Digital Score is a metric that gauges the growth of your Facebook page. This metric analyzes post engagement based on the value of Publication Points (Pp), which range from 1 to 5 (numbers displayed in the Overview section). The Digital Score is the average of Pps from all selected posts in the filter. What is counted in the "Comments" area within the Facebook card in Proprietary Metrics? This icon displays only the "parent" comments made on the post. A parent comment is one that initiates the sequence of comments made by users in response to the main comment. This sequence is called a thread. In this area, only main comments are counted. In the "Comments" section, the API counts all parent comments, even if they have been deleted or hidden. In the "View Tickets" area, comments generating the thread (parent) are collected and may be grouped by users. What is the Engagement Index? This metric was created at STILINGUE as a way to "reward" the user's effort in engaging. Therefore, each action taken (like, comment, and share) carries a different weight. For example, when someone clicks "like," the post has a higher chance of appearing in the timeline of your proprietary page followers. This metric represents the calculation based on interactions by users of pages connected to the tool. As each type of interaction has a different weight in counting engagement, the formula works as follows: Engagement Index = (likes + comments x 1.5 + shares x 2) / reach x 100 Note: This formula does not apply entirely to Instagram, as the platform lacks the option to share posts. For Instagram only, the formula is: (likes + comments x 1.5) / reach x 100. The reach data is extracted from the "Average reach per post" section in Overview, and the formula is: (Average reach per post x number of posts on the "timeline"). The value shown in the "timeline" (considering only posts and carousels) should be inserted in place of "reach" in the formula. Another Instagram-related peculiarity is that owner comments (those made by the page itself) are also considered for the formula calculation. Contact your STILINGUE account manager to gain access to this and several other services. What are dynamic ads, and how do they work? Dynamic ads are created on Facebook and do not visually differ from other types of ads, but they allow the creation of a model that uses images and details from a catalog containing the items you want to advertise (automatically and customized) for each person who has shown interest on the website, app, or other internet locations. In other words: there's no need to create an ad for each promoted item. For the dynamic ad to be collected by STILINGUE, at least one interaction must have been made on it. What are template format publications? Is this type of publication collected by STILINGUE? A template is a model used by Facebook to push multiple publications at once. This format is created directly in the Facebook ads area and serves as the foundation for dynamic ads. Even though STILINGUE collects dynamic ads, templates are not collected. Note the difference: the template is created on the owner's page. When the first interaction is made on the template, a dynamic publication is generated. This dynamic publication is collected by STILINGUE, along with its metrics, but templates are not collected. The metrics of templates are equivalent to those of dynamic ads, making collection impossible. Why is my crossposted publication not identified within the search? Crossposts are identified on the platform only when the crossposted publication receives a comment. This identification is the copy icon located within the publication card. If a crosspost is not flagged in your search, it is due to the absence of comments. Why does authentication fail on LinkedIn? Authentication failure may occur if the user who connected the LinkedIn page in the STILINGUE War Room changes their personal LinkedIn password without updating it in the tool. Additionally, authentication failure also occurs if the designated administrator's permission is changed after the page is connected. To fix this, simply reconnect the page with the new data, taking into account the designated administrator's permission. Once this action is taken, the data will be restored, along with the collection of publications. The user will receive an alert email notifying them of the situation. Why might a comment responding to a thread not appear in Comment Analysis in Proprietary Metrics? If the comment responding to the thread did not mention the @ profile, it will not appear. This happens because, if the response does not mention any user, this response will not be grouped in any conversation and will appear separately. What LinkedIn data will be collected? It is possible to collect proprietary posts from the pages you connect to War-Room STILINGUE, whether they are organic posts or dark posts. Public comments made on these pages will also be collected. So far, the LinkedIn API is testing the option to collect inbox comments, but it has not been made available to everyone yet. What are the limitations on collecting publications on LinkedIn? The collection of publications on LinkedIn only occurs within the proprietary page. The LinkedIn API is not public, preventing monitoring via Listening, meaning: personal profiles and external pages cannot be monitored. Mentions of users and proprietary pages are not collected by the tool, for the same reason. Collections of publications as Anonymous User may occur. This is because, according to the LinkedIn API, some users have a "private" profile. So, treating it as an Anonymous User makes sense in this case. Since, as the API itself informs us, retrieving data from a profile is subject to the user's privacy settings, and if the profile is marked as private, we will collect it as an "Anonymous User." What is the collection limit for comments on Instagram Dark Posts? Before explaining the behavior for comments on dark posts on Instagram, it is important to explain how this collection is done on the platform. The collection for proprietary pages connected to STILINGUE considers the last 100 posts made within the last 30 days. Posts that exceed this period will only have updated metrics. For comments made on posts, there is no time limitation. The social network sends a notification to the STILINGUE platform, and each new comment created on the post will be collected, as long as the post where the comment was made has been collected. Comments on Dark Posts The behavior for collecting comments made on dark posts is a bit different. The platform collects up to 100 comments (and 100 replies to each comment) made on a dark post collected among the 120 most recent ads from the ad account, considering the last 30 days. This means that any comment and replies made outside these conditions will not be collected by STILINGUE. For example: let's assume that the collection is done in the API every 10 minutes. As a result, every 10 minutes, the API requests the 100 latest comments (and 100 replies to each comment) within the mentioned conditions. With this, there is a possible situation: The collection occurs by retrieving the 100 most recent comments from each ad; Before the next collection attempt, one of the ads received 300 comments; The collection occurs again (10 minutes after point 1), retrieving the 100 most recent comments from each ad. As in point 2, 300 comments were made that had not yet been collected, 200 of these 300 will not be collected in the second collection attempt (point 3), as only the most recent 100 are collected. Regarding the ads mentioned earlier: Instagram's API provides more than the Dark Posts collected by the platform. In addition to them, other ads created from the same account as the dark post also get sent. For this reason, the collection cannot guarantee the collection of a specific dark post if multiple ads are being made on this account, as this may exceed the limit of 120 ads. If this collection were made, the dark post would be removed from the 120 most recent ads, and the comment collection would be interrupted. This can happen if many ads are made between the publication of a dark post and its first comment, removing the dark post from the 120 most recent ads. What is the update time for metrics on the platform's publications? The update of metrics for the social networks registered in STILINGUE occurs every 15 minutes. They are: Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google Play. Which interaction is considered by the word cloud? Only comments on posts and mentioned comments made organically within the selected filter period are considered. What is the minimum number of terms needed to form a word cloud? And what is the maximum number of terms available? There is no minimum number; with just one post, it is possible to have a word cloud. For the cloud to form, there only needs to be text in the post. The maximum display limit is 60 terms. How does the collection of comments on Live videos work? The collection of comments on Live videos works differently for each network. Follow: YouTube Comments made during the YouTube Live are not collected; only comments made after the Live becomes a publication are collected. Facebook Comments made during and after the Live will be collected. However, comments made during the live will only be collected after the live becomes a publication. Instagram Currently, it is not possible to collect comments from live broadcasts. This is because the data and comments from live broadcasts can only be accessed at the time of their transmission and are not available after the broadcast ends. I changed the username of my social media page, what do I need to do to update it on STILINGUE? After changing the username of your page, it is necessary to disconnect and reconnect the page on STILINGUE. This reconnection updates the page's username on the platform and ensures that your collection continues to happen normally. Important! Before starting the disconnection process, make sure you have all the necessary accesses to reconnect to the platform. Why is there a difference in impression data in the Proprietary Metrics section? The impressions in these areas differ for two reasons: The data comes from different sources. The organic impressions area counts the publication date and relates it to the impression date, while the Engagement Pyramid counts the date the impression occurs regardless of whether the publication is in the date period. Example: a post from the 30th that received an impression on the 1st will be counted in the Pyramid as an impression on the 1st; The impression data includes paid impressions generated by Dark Posts or promotions. Within the Proprietary Metrics Module, you can view impression data in the following areas: Menu Metric Observation Update Overview Impressions (Engagement Pyramid) The impressions here represent the number of people who viewed the post. If the same person viewed the same post more than once, it will be counted in this graph. This data also considers both organic and paid posts. Request made on Facebook at the exact moment the client requests it. It sums up all impressions per day, regardless of the publication date. If a post was made outside the period but received impressions within the period, those impressions will be counted. Paid Impressions Paid impressions Every time a post appears on a user's screen, it is counted as an impression. As it is a sponsored post, the metric will be identified as a paid impression. Each post will have its total metric. If the impression occurred outside the period, but the post is from that date, the impression will be counted as if it were made on the day of the post. Posts Export (Publication Wall) The export of the day through the post area considers only the impressions of the posts made in that interval. Example: if the total in the export is 1 million impressions and the filter for the same day in the Overview is 4 million, it means that among the 4 million impressions the page received that day, 1 million belongs to the posts posted on that day. Organic Impressions Organic Impressions This area records impressions from individuals who have only seen organic posts, that is, without taking into account paid publications. If a person views the same post more than once, the impression is counted twice. Viral Impressions It reports only impressions from people who saw the post through a friend who tagged them in the same post or someone who interacted with a particular post without it appearing on the user's timeline. For this graph, it is not possible to combine organic and viral impressions, as a viral impression may also count as an organic impression. When is a video view counted on the Interaction Volume graph in Proprietary Metrics? The time to count a video view on the platform will vary primarily depending on the social network being analyzed. Access the links below to consult the documentation regarding the viewing time for each network and obtain this information: Facebook Instagram LinkedIn Twitter YouTube What are "guest" users that appear in Proprietary Metrics? Before presenting the concept, it is important to highlight that this functionality is delivered through the Facebook API. You can find additional information through the network's support. This feature allows users to initiate a chat with your company's page through Facebook chat without logging into the social network, using a guest account. Guest accounts are temporary and can receive messages for up to 24 hours from the first message or when the guest user decides to end the chat (in these cases, whichever comes first). After that, the guest account will be deactivated. In your page's inbox, the guest will appear as "Guest" followed by four digits. If you try to send a message to this guest user after the guest account has been deactivated, an error message will appear. However, transcripts of these guest chats will remain in your inbox until you choose to delete them, even after the chats have been deactivated. For example, someone can visit your website and click on the Messenger icon to send a message via chat to your company, even without having a personal profile on Facebook. The visitor mode allows visitors to your site to interact with you without having to login into the social network. Why is there a 30-day limitation for collecting updates? Only updates made to posts created in the last 30 days are collected. This is done to streamline the collection time and enable faster tool operation. The older the post, the more challenging it is to update, as all interactions made on that post are taken into account. Social networks are limited by date and quantity due to the burden of retrieving this data. In addition to the network, there is also a limitation to prevent this burden from spreading throughout the entire tool. In some cases, it is possible to increase the limitations, but the higher the limit, the heavier the loading. This will directly impact the collection time: the more limits, the greater the overall collection delays. Are publications made over 30 days ago collected by the tool? Each social network has a collection period for posts made on pages registered in STILINGUE. For Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, the last 100 posts made within the last 30 days will be collected. For Twitter, the last 200 posts made in the last 7 days will be collected. For Google Play, the last 500 posts made in the last 7 days will be collected. If the post does not fit within these parameters, it will not be collected. Does the reach delivered in Proprietary Metrics refer to the overall reach of my proprietary page? Not exactly. This metric specifically refers to the reach of proprietary posts that were collected within the selected time range in the filter. For how long is the Reach Over Time metric updated? The metric is updated with each post through proprietary collection, that is: up to 100 posts from the last 30 days. Why do comments made on my proprietary page appear in Listening? If comments made on your proprietary pages contain terms registered in your Search Configuration, these comments will also appear in Listening. The same comments that appear in Listening can be seen both in the Proprietary Metrics area and in STILINGUE Smart Care. This behavior occurs in interactions of page users and in interactions on the page itself. Important! Comments on your proprietary page classified in Listening will occupy the contracted volume of your search, and if these comments are removed from Listening, they will also be removed from STILINGUE Smart Care and the Proprietary Metrics module. Can I automatically add a tag to both posts and comments? You can do this automatic tagging through the Proprietary Metrics tab. To do this, simply click on the "Publications" tab. In this tab, you will find your posts according to the applied filter. Click on Posts, go to the post to which you want to apply the tag, and then insert the tag in the post and comments. You have the option to put tags on all comments of a proprietary publication, choosing to also apply a tag to the publication. How does retroactive collection work when the proprietary page is reconnected to the platform? Follow the parameters for collecting data from each social network available on STILINGUE: Social Network Retroactive Collection Limitation Instagram 100 publications from the last 30 days Mentions and Stories are not collected Facebook 100 publications from the last 30 days - Youtube 100 publications from the last 30 days - Twitter 200 publications of the last 30 days - LinkedIn 100 publications from the last 30 days - Google Play 500 publications of the last 30 days - TikTok 20 publications from the last 30 days - For more details on how retroactive collection works via the service, please refer to the guide. Does automatic retroactive collection of posts happen immediately after connecting a page to STILINGUE? When a page is connected to STILINGUE, collections are done according to each social media platform: Facebook The 100 latest publications within a 30-day period are automatically collected for each connected page. Note: Even with the date limitation, it is important to highlight that if a new comment is made on an old post (beyond the 30-day interval), that comment will also be collected. Instagram The 100 latest publications within a 30-day period are automatically collected for each connected page. Important! There is no retroactive collection of mentions made to the Instagram page. LinkedIn The 100 latest publications within a 30-day period are automatically collected for each connected page. Twitter The 100 latest publications from the past 7 days are collected. YouTube The last 50 videos from the past 30 days are collected. What is the difference between the reach delivered by the Overview of Proprietary Metrics and the one shown in the Reach x Engagement Index graph? The reach metric can be found in both the Overview and the Reach x Engagement Index graph. However, the values are not the same, and here's why: Overview The calculation considers the sum of the reach of each publication from the filter date. Thus, a publication made in December but accessed later in April will have its reach counted only in December, as that was the month of the publication date. Additionally, this metric refers to unique users. Reach X Engagement Rate In this case, the value is calculated based on the data collected by STILINGUE during the filter period. Since this process has a different calculation compared to the Overview, they will not show the same results. Insights Facebook It's important to note that the metrics displayed in the Insights section of Facebook regarding Reach are different from those presented by STILINGUE: in the Insights section, videos are displayed separately, and the metrics for people reached represent an estimate. In STILINGUE, videos published during the filter period are also counted as posts and appear in the Overview. What is the difference between the Overview Listening Conversation Filter and the Proprietary Metrics Conversation Filter? Before showing the differences between the filters in these areas, it's important to understand that some Listening graphs have the same data presentation characteristics regarding interactions. For this reason, when applying a filter in the Overview area in Listening, the same behavior will be presented on pages such as the Publication Wall, Classify, among others. Regarding different areas within the platform, the same filter applied in Listening and in Proprietary Metrics does not always yield the same result. In Listening, when selecting the Conversations Filter, you have access to the quantity of interactions collected in proprietary posts made within the filter period. On the other hand, in Proprietary Metrics, the displayed metrics only take into account the publication date. Note: publication metrics are updated for the last 100 publications within the last 30 days. You can take, for example, the Overview and comments of a Facebook post. For instance, a filter applied in Listening from November 1 to November 8 returned 5 comments, while the same filter applied in Proprietary Metrics for the same date recorded 12 comments. This difference occurs because in Listening, only comments made within the filtered interval are considered. This means that comments returned by the filter may belong to posts that were not made within the filter interval, but since their comments are within that interval, they are counted. In the Proprietary Metrics area, comments made on publications within the filter period are counted. In this case, the date used as the time interval in the filter is the date the publication was made, not the date the comments were made. What is the difference between the number of comments in the "Interactions in filter posts" and "Sentiment in comments" sections of the Overview? The first graph refers to comments made on publications within the filter date, while the second relates to comments and replies to comments in the analyzed period. In other words, the first graph is related to the collection date of the publications themselves, and the second only with the date of these interactions: comments and replies. Does the Sentiments graph in the filter comments in the Overview consider replies? Yes. The graph in the Overview area analyzes the sentiment classification in the comments and replies published within the filter date range. Here, the publication date is not considered, only the period in which comments and replies to comments were published on the network. How is the Evolution of Fan Base area calculated? The value is updated as the proprietary collection takes place. In the case of Facebook, when the API returns the number of followers, the graph is updated. For previous days, the value is according to the last time (on the day) that the page's follower count was retrieved by the proprietary collection. It's important to note that when the token of the page is invalid or the page is experiencing authentication failure, the area does not display fan count. Is it possible to perform retroactive actions for the Evolution of Fan Base area? No. For Facebook, the Evolution of Fan Base data presented in the system comes directly from the API. This means that regardless of the survey creation date, Facebook can return the data. For other networks, the data is taken from the STILINGUE database but is not updated retroactively. What is the difference between liking and following in the Evolution of Fan Base area? Within Facebook, users can perform both actions, but on this platform, the metric used is for those who liked the page. For the following platforms: Instagram; Twitter (Subscriber Base Evolution); LinkedIn; YouTube (Subscriber Base Evolution). The analyzed metric is for those who followed the page. What happens if I don't renew the token for my page? Does it impact the Evolution of Fan Base? Can I retrieve data that was missed during the token's outdated period? The behavior depends on the social media platform. See more below: Facebook Data can be retrieved because it is taken from the API. Instagram It is not possible to access data not collected during the period when the token was not renewed, as the data must be collected daily. Twitter It is not possible to access data not collected during the period when the token was not renewed, as the data must be collected daily. Why is the number of likes on my page in Overview and Evolution of Fan Base different from the value shown in Compare Fanpages? The number of likes in each of these areas is updated through different processes, so it may show variations when comparing values. In the case of Overview and the Fan Base Evolution graph, the data is fetched from the Facebook API and updated only once a day. When requesting this information through the API, it is possible to obtain the like history since the page was created. In the Compare Fanpages section, data is obtained from the public information of pages (even for proprietary pages), based on the last organic post of each page collected by the platform. Therefore, in this case, information is only available from the insertion of the page into the STILINGUE collection base. Since the like values explained above are fetched from different sources (API and public data) and also measured at different intervals, the final value in each area may have discrepancies and therefore cannot be directly compared. What is the limit for pages inserted in Compare Fanpages? The Compare Fanpages area, available in Proprietary Metrics, is only available for Facebook pages. The limits are: Light: 5 pages in Compare Fanpages; Ultra: 10 pages in Compare Fanpages; Elite: 10 pages in Compare Fanpages. Is it possible to collect posts from the Compare Fanpages section using network operators? It is not possible to use this feature. The network operators (facebookid, facebookcommentsid...) available in the Search Configuration work exclusively for Listening (organic collection). The publications obtained in the Compare Fanpages area come from proprietary collection, so the operators do not affect this operation. What sentiment rating do posts made by pages registered in Compare Fanpages (competitors) receive? By registering competing pages in the Compare Fanpages area in Proprietary Metrics, you turn a Facebook page into a competitor. When the option "Sentiment analysis on proprietary interactions" in the Search Configuration area is deactivated, proprietary pages do not receive sentiment classification, and their publications are marked as "not classified." Competing pages registered in the search follow the same behavior as proprietary pages regarding sentiment classification. Therefore, the posts from these competitor pages are classified as "unranked" and do not receive classification among Positive, Neutral, and Negative sentiments. To normally classify publications made by your proprietary pages and competitor pages, it is necessary to keep the option "Sentiment analysis on proprietary interactions" enabled within the "Settings and collection status" area. Are partnership posts made on Facebook collected by STILINGUE? Yes. Before explaining the collection itself, it is necessary to understand what these partnership publications are. When a proprietary Facebook page makes a paid post together with another page, and it appears in the feed as "page 1 with page 2," this content is characterized as a partnership post. It is also important to note that the platform will only collect the publication if page 1, responsible for the publication, is connected to STILINGUE. If only page 2 is connected, comment collection will not be performed, and it will only occur if page 1 mentions page 2 with the @ tag. Why can the number of comments on a Facebook post be different when comparing the Proprietary Metrics card with the original post? First, it is important to observe if the publication is a dark post. Comments made on dark post links (generated through boosting) will be collected only on publications where they were originally made. This means that comments are distributed between publications (boosted and original). Thus, the dark post shown in the Proprietary Metrics area will only contain the comments made on it. When a post is boosted, it generates a dark post, and the API behavior is as follows: Comments made on the organic post are returned only on that publication; Comments made on the dark post (boosted) are delivered in the API only for that publication. There is also the possibility that some comments may not be collected in the search due to filters applied by Facebook, even in non-boosted posts. In this case, some comments made on organic posts may not be returned by the API if the comment is removed, which can also cause a difference in the number of comments. Does a comment made on a mention of a private personal profile on Facebook appear in STILINGUE? No. Private profiles have restrictions on how data is delivered through the social network's API. Therefore, mentions on this type of profile are displayed to STILINGUE as an anonymous user. Anonymous mentions are visible in STILINGUE Smart Care, but comments are not delivered and remain visible only on the social network. Why do Facebook Analytics data not match the data in the Facebook Overview within the platform? The numbers from these two sources are not compatible because the STILINGUE Overview considers the analyzed period and the update of posts (which respects a maximum limit of 30 days, provided the post is among the last 100 collected). Meanwhile, Facebook Analytics considers data such as likes and shares without distinguishing the analyzed period. How does the export function work in the Facebook Analysis - All comments section? The interactions in this area are counted together. For example, if a "parent" comment is made on the page and 3 other comments are created in response, it will count as 1 interaction, not 4—counting the one that generated the interaction. When exporting these comments, you have access to each of them individually, regardless of the number of comments that generated the interactions. In the "Facebook Analysis - All Comments" section, is it possible to automatically insert the severity? Currently, it is not possible to automatically classify a comment as critical. This change must be made manually by you or someone on your team within the "All Comments" section of Proprietary Metrics or in STILINGUE Smart Care. Which metrics are collected from dynamic ads? The number of likes and the quantity of comments are always collected, while other reactions (love, wow, haha, etc.) are not counted as likes. For example, even if a post receives 100 loves but no likes, it will be recorded as 0 likes. It is possible to check if other metrics have been collected using the tooltip of the tool: hover the cursor over the area, and this information will appear. Are the collected KPIs of dynamic ads displayed? KPIs are displayed only in dynamic ads that have comments collected by STILINGUE. Retrospective comment data is not delivered; therefore, if the ad comes from a retrospective search, it will not display KPIs. Is it possible to collect interactions from restricted Instagram users? After restricting a user profile on Instagram, only messages sent by them via Inbox will be collected. It is not possible to collect comments from this user, even if they have been individually approved in the publication. To collect comments, the user restriction must be lifted. Can STILINGUE collect Instagram live videos? Currently, it is not possible to collect Instagram Live streams and their comments through STILINGUE. This is because data and comments from Live streams can only be accessed during their broadcast and are not available after the stream ends. Does STILINGUE collect dynamic ads from Instagram? No. The platform collects similar metrics, such as dynamic ads from Facebook and dark posts from Instagram and Facebook. Can I access Instagram video view metrics? Yes. The collected viewing metrics are only available for proprietary pages connected to the tool. This means you can check the number of views for a specific video posted on your page, but the same metric is not available for organic posts from other sources in Listening, due to an Instagram API limitation. Is it possible to collect the saved publication metric from Instagram? Yes. Within STILINGUE, in the Proprietary Metrics area, you can see how many times a specific publication has been saved. On Instagram, users have the option to save a publication for easy retrieval or viewing at their convenience, without needing to access the proprietary page. When a publication is saved on Instagram, this data is stored only on the social network. Attention! It is important to note that in STILINGUE, only the number of saved organic publications is presented, whereas on Instagram, both organic and boosted publications are displayed. Why might the number of comments on an Instagram post appear different from what is presented in the Proprietary Metrics card? When accessing an Instagram post through the Proprietary Metrics section, you can obtain important metrics for your analysis. In the card, user comments are located. The difference between the number on the platform compared to what is presented in the original publication can occur for two reasons: Due to the limitation of certain types of comments by the social media API; This discrepancy may occur because it involves different publications that have similar content, such as in the case of dark post. When an organic post is boosted, a dark post is generated from this boost. This type of publication will be treated as a separate post within STILINGUE. In the case of comment limitations, understand how counting is done on the Publications Card, where user comments are located: 1. View services Click on the "View services" option and see the comments that originated the conversation sequence, called "parent" comments. The icon highlighted in the image represents the number of "parent" comments made for that publication. Only these comments are counted in this area. 2. Comments Here, all visible comments made on the publication are presented, including sequence/thread (replies), which are not displayed in "View services." See below the possibilities considered by the platform: Counted on the card: Deleted comments from the social network remain collected in STILINGUE. For this reason, the number of comments on the card may differ from the total displayed on the social network. Not counted on the card: Invisible comments - those that do not appear in the originating publication but are still counted by Instagram. In this case, the card volume may appear smaller than on the social network. Comments may be invisible due to the social network's privacy policies regarding the user who made the comment. They are still counted in the original publication; Blocked comments: the profile defines keywords to restrict the content of certain comments. If any of them have a keyword, it is not displayed on Instagram and will not be returned by the API for collection, but it is counted on the social network. In the case of dark post, although the content is the same, the publications will have different links and IDs and will also show different metrics in terms of reach, comments, and likes. On the platform, the total number of likes received is divided between organic posts and dark posts, while on Instagram, this total appears consolidated. However, in the case of dark posts in carousel format within Proprietary Metrics, there is another difference: the returned value will always be the sum of likes received before and after the post becomes a dark post. This is because this type of content uses the Instagram marketing API (GraphAPI), unlike other types of dark posts on this network. It is necessary to perform this verification when filtering by the "Only Dark Posts" option within the Proprietary Metrics Post Wall, to check if an Instagram post is boosted; or "Only Organic" to return only organic posts. Thus, it will be possible to compare whether the reach metrics are correct or if there is a difference in the data presented by the same publication. Are there limitations on collecting Instagram mentions? Yes, collecting 100% of mention comments is not guaranteed due to the limitation of Instagram tokens: Collection via webhook is not used for these cases; Due to the volume of mentions, if it is too large. Even if it is a response from the page made within STILINGUE, it is not guaranteed that this response will be obtained from the social network, as it is not possible to obtain it directly by its ID. Why are the metrics for my proprietary Instagram posts showing as zero? Before explaining this behavior, it is necessary to understand a characteristic of collecting Instagram Business in different areas of the platform. If the posts from an Instagram page are collected by Instagram Business Discovery in Listening and only after that same page is connected to STILINGUE (in the My Connections area), the data from the previous posts collected by Instagram Business Discovery will be updated, but only for the last 100 publications made in the last 30 days. Publications that exceed this rule (last 100 posts in the last 30 days) will also be collected by the Proprietary Metrics area, but the metrics displayed on the card (percentage of sentiment in comments, reach, impressions, etc.) will appear as zero. Currently, we have 3 sources for collecting Instagram posts: Via hashtags; Via business discovery (profiles set up in Edit Search); Via business discovery (profiles existing in the Influencer Center database). Only users retrieved from publications in the third topic (profiles existing in the Central Influencers database) are added to the user metrics and their publications update queue. It's worth noting that collecting posts from profiles registered in the Edit Research tool does not add the posts to the metrics update queue due to compliance reasons, as the same metrics update queue is used for collecting data from all clients. If a post is added, it can be added to all searches as long as it matches the configuration, which cannot happen in this collection, which must be restricted to the account in which the profile was registered. What limitations exist in collecting Instagram Dark Posts? The collection of this type of publication is done as follows: the person who connected the Instagram proprietary page to STILINGUE needs to have access to the ad account (ad account) of this publication; otherwise, the dark post will not be collected. Some criteria that differentiate this collection from other networks: The collection of dark post and its comments on Instagram is not done through a Webhook; If the ad account has many ads in a short period, the collection of all dark posts is not guaranteed. Why isn't the video preview showing on the Instagram post card? Sometimes, the Instagram publication card does not show the video preview. This happens because the API does not provide video previews for publications with music due to copyright restrictions. Does the Proprietary Metrics Interaction Volume graph consider Stories? No, as information about stories interactions is not provided by the social media API. Therefore, it's not possible to know if a story had reactions or was shared by users, for example. The Zoom feature in this area also does not consider stories interactions due to the same limitation observed in the API. Why is the comment quantity displayed on the Proprietary Metrics card for an Instagram post different from what appears on the original publication? This difference is caused by comments that were made and removed from the publication before being collected. Since the Instagram API does not update the comment counter when one is removed, the total displayed in the tool is different from what appears on the social network. Do I have the option to include Instagram comments that were not collected in my research, or to collect them in future cases? Send this request to your STILINGUE Account Manager for them to check the possibility of extending the monitoring period for this specific analysis. Why are my Reels impression metrics showing as zero? It is not possible to display impression metrics because they are not available through the API due to the social media network's own rules. On the other hand, STILINGUE collects reach data. Why is it not possible to export Reels view and impression data? At the moment, the Instagram API is in the process of providing Reels impression and view data. Therefore, these metrics are not included in the research report. Are Reels that were not published on the Instagram post grid collected by STILINGUE? Yes, all published Reels are collected by STILINGUE, regardless of whether they were posted on the grid or only in the Reels tab. Will Reels videos have a different icon, as on Instagram, or will it be the same as other formats on the platform? Yes, they will have a different icon, as shown in the image below: Can I filter Reels and their comments within the platform? War-Room Conversation Filter (Listening): It is possible to filter only proprietary Reels publications. For all other areas (Proprietary Metrics and STILINGUE Smart Care): It is not possible to filter Reels publications or interaction types generated from Reels. They appear in search results alongside other types of Instagram interactions. Proprietary Reels posts also feature a different icon on the card in War-Room and Proprietary Metrics listings. Tip: You can filter Reels comments in STILINGUE Smart Care using the filter through the publication ID. Is it possible to collect retrospective Reels data? Yes. Reels will be collected up to 30 days before the API release (done on July 07, 2022), within the limit of 100 publications. Is it possible to send Direct Messages on Twitter to people who don't follow my profile? If the Twitter profile connected to STILINGUE by Blip is not verified, it will not be possible to send or collect Direct Messages from people who do not follow it on the social network. However, within the privacy settings of Twitter, it is possible to enable or disable the request for messages from everyone, whether verified or not. Learn how to do it by following the steps below. When a user without a verified profile tries to send a DM to a profile that does not follow them, they receive the following notice: To allow messages from everyone (verified or not), go to the "Settings and Support" area and then access "Privacy and Settings": In the "Settings" menu, select "Privacy and Security," and then select "Direct Messages": Click on the desired option to edit permissions: On Twitter, how do I find proprietary responses in open-sea collection? The collection of proprietary responses to tweets in open seas (that is, collected on non-proprietary pages) is done similarly to that of a proprietary publication. As it is not a conversation and does not belong to one, it cannot be found using the ID in the conversation filter. The only way to find it through this filter is by searching only by the publication date, without any other parameters. In the Publication Filter, it will only be returned if it has a group, if there are terms registered in the Search Configuration, or by manual annotation. Does the total mentions of a proprietary Twitter page contribute to both Listening and Proprietary Metrics? No. It is important to note that Twitter collection is sampling for Listening (organic posts) and also for Proprietary Metrics (interactions on your proprietary page). This means that not all mentioned posts will be included in the research. As this sample collection occurs independently in each module, a mention on your page within the sample can be collected by Listening and still not be collected in Proprietary Metrics (and vice versa). Therefore, it is only possible to analyze this mention in the module where it was collected. How does the collection of comments on Twitter work? Twitter does not have comment collection because the social media API considers each comment as a tweet. So when these comments are requested from the API, it is necessary to obtain the link for each of them. Within the area of Proprietary Metrics, all tweets mentioning your profile will be collected. Does STILINGUE collect audio content from Twitter? Yes, but with some limitations. First and foremost, it is essential to understand that Twitter's audio publication resembles the videos collected by the tool because the social media API delivers it in this way. Therefore, you will see the video icon on the publication card, and you can play it in the center to listen to the audio. There can be a sequence of up to 25 tweets with audio. STILINGUE has three collection scenarios for audio from the social network: In Listening, organically, audio recorded by the social network is collected only when the published text relates to the terms entered the Search Configuration. In other words, audio without text is not responsible for the collection; If the search has a Twitter page connected to the tool, the audio publication will appear in Proprietary Metrics, even if it does not include text; For searches using network operators like "twitterid:" as a descriptor for a group, there may be the collection of organic publications (in Listening) even without text. This is because the collection for this social network is sample-based. When a YouTube video is removed from the channel, does it remain in STILINGUE? No. There is a YouTube compliance rule that requires the video to be removed from the STILINGUE database within 30 days after removal from the social network. Please note that YouTube data collection is guaranteed only for videos categorized as public. Does STILINGUE collect metrics for all YouTube videos? The metrics available for YouTube collection are those of videos categorized as public. The API does not provide videos that are on the platform as "Unlisted" and "Private". This classification is assigned within the video settings, where it can be categorized as "Public," "Unlisted," and "Private." When a video categorized as Public is collected but is later removed or taken down, changing its category to Unlisted, it will also be removed from the search. This happens because, according to a rule in the YouTube API, if a video is removed from the social network, it must also be removed from the STILINGUE database within 30 days. What is the collection time for Google My Business comments in Proprietary Metrics? 99% of comments and reviews are collected within 15 minutes. How does the visualization of Google My Business information work in Proprietary Metrics? When accessing the Proprietary Metrics sidebar, you can choose which place to analyze and can select only one at a time from the menu. Clicking on the "Analysis in Reviews" area also allows you to analyze sentiment in reviews published by users, in addition to accessing other exclusive Google My Business data. Is it possible to perform a textual search for Google My Business places in the Proprietary Metrics module? Yes. If the places have different names or addresses, for example, you can search for the specific address to locate the desired place. Can I respond to Google Play comments through STILINGUE? No. Currently, STILINGUE uses Google Play only to obtain metrics; therefore, it is not possible to respond to user comments through this channel.
