TikTok Direct Message is the function that allows sending and receiving private messages between users within the platform itself.
Configuration
The first step is to connect the TikTok account on Stilingue and ensure that the Inbox interaction is selected. If your account is already connected during the launch of this collection, it is necessary to perform the account connection again.
With the interaction selected, the messages that users send to the connected page will be collected.
Configuration in TikTok
By default, TikTok Inbox messages are sent to the Request Box, where they need to be approved to start the conversation. For messages to be collected by Stilingue, they must be in the Inbox.
Therefore, for the proper functioning of the Stilingue integration with TikTok Inboxes, it is necessary to configure the account so that new messages are sent directly to the Inbox.
It is necessary to follow this path in the account settings within the social network's app: Settings → Settings and Privacy → Privacy → Direct messages → Permission settings → Other people on TikTok and select the “Inbox” option for the “Receive messages in” setting:
Direct Message in Smart Care
When a user sends a direct message to the TikTok page that is connected on Stilingue, this message will be collected and displayed in Smart Care.
From the moment the interaction is collected, it is possible to respond to messages through Smart Care normally.
In addition to text responses, it is also possible to respond with images. To send an image, click on the Add image icon.
⚠️ The images must be of the .jpg extension and the maximum size is 2MB
After selecting the file, it is necessary to send the image first to then continue responding.
