How to integrate and send data from a bot to Dashbot?

To send the information generated by your bot automatically to Dashbot, you need to configure the API-KEY of your bot provided by Dashbot in Blip. Follow the steps below to accomplish the integration.

 

Note: our current integration with Dashbot does not send intentions.

 

Creating a bot in Dashbot

 

If you already have a bot on Dashbot, go to step 2 (Adding Dashbot API-KEY to Blip). Otherwise, follow all the steps below:

a) Access Dashbot

b) Create an account or log into your account

c) Click the Add a bot button

d) Choose the Blip platform and enter the name and category that best applies to your bot. Click Save Bot

e) Copy your bot's KEY API

Adding Dashbot API-KEY to Blip

With the Dashbot API-KEY, go to the Blip portal, select your bot and click on integrations (as shown in the image below).

Choose the Dashbot integration and click on the Configuration tab. Fill in the API-KEY field with the key generated by Dashbot in the previous step and click save. After that click on the Activate key (in the upper right field) to activate the integration.

 Testing integration

All messages sent and received by the bot are automatically sent to the Dashbot. After performing some interaction with your bot, go to the Dashbot panel and check the result.
