Installing the Application on Workplace To configure a bot in your company's Workplace, access the Blip portal, choose the desired bot, click on Channels> Workplace. When choosing the desired name (name that will appear on the Workplace page), click the Install button. After that, a pop-up will open with the Workplace page: At that moment, it is possible to change the page name (if you want to be different from the one informed in Blip) and the icon for displaying that page. When you click the Add to Workplace button, the application configuration process will begin. After the installation is finished, the following page will be displayed, containing the chosen name (which can be searched at the workplace) and the generated page ID. Using the created application In your company's Workplace, just search using the page name or identifier previously displayed and start chatting. Uninstall It is possible to uninstall an application that has been configured on the Blip Portal. To do this, access your company's Workplace, navigate to the menu Administrative Panel> Integrations. This screen will list all installed applications. Search for and select the desired application and the following modal will be displayed. By selecting the Uninstall / Uninstall option, all settings for that application will be removed and the channel will be disabled in your chatbot. Accessing Blip after uninstallation, a warning will be displayed informing you that the uninstallation process was carried out within the workplace. Custom integrations To publish a bot on your company's Workplace, access the Blip portal, choose the desired bot, click on Channels> Workplace, on the right side menu, and click on the Available channel key. Follow the three instructions below to collect all the necessary information in the process of publishing your bot on this channel. Create your application on Workplace Access your company's Workplace (with an administration profile), select Admin Panel and click on Integrations. On the integrations page, click the Create Custom Integration button to add a new application to your organization's workplace. Enter a name and description for the app, then click Create. Configure your APP After creating an application, it will be necessary to collect some information that Blip will use to send and receive messages. In the configuration screen of your application click on the Create Access Token button, copy the token and save it in a temporary location (This token will only be shown once). Also copy the App Secret, you will need to provide Blip with this information. In the Integration Permissions section select the options: Read user email, Read group Membership, Mention bot, Read work profile and Message any member. In Configure Webhooks specify the Callback URL and the Verify Token with the values below: Callback URL: https://workplace.gw.msging.net Verify Token: ze3jRmmaLU5KUTtUN Enable the options: mention, message_deliveries, messages, messaging_postbacks and message_reads in Subscription Fields, then click Save. Get your APP ID Search for the application created in the Workplace search field, choose the application and click Chat. See the URL of the page and copy the identifier of your application that appears at the end. This is the App Id of your application. Also add this information to the Blip portal. How to interact with users through Workplace Unlike Facebook, Workplace is focused on being an internal communication network for the company, so the entire scope of conversations will be done through the Workplace application, either on the web, iOS or Android.
