How to send images and videos in active notifications

See how to configure the audience file to send images, videos and documents in active notifications of WhatsApp. With this functionality, you will be able to send more relevant content to your customers, and engage them with your smart contact.

 

Configuring the audience file

To make or send notifications using images, videos and documents, you must upload a .csv file with the contact list, or link to the media file and the other variables of your message template, in this order.

O Blip requests that you include a url of a media file so that you can personalize the content that will be sent for every one of two contacts from your audience.

 

For example, for the Message Template:

How to create media file URLs

It will be necessary to store your media file in the cloud, to generate the access URLs that will be inserted in the audience file.

You can use cloud storage tools such as Google Drive or Onedrive, and configure the sharing links. Or you can search for storage tools and file compartments in your CRM.

Next, we explain how to create the URLs in the storage tools in Google Drive and One Drive, in our CRMs Hubspot and RD Station:

Google Drive

  1. Click on share and allow anyone with the link to access your file.

  1. Retrieve the file sharing link. It will have the following format:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/**{{File_ID}}**/view?usp=sharing

 

  1. Include the file ID in the URL below, so it can be used in Blip:

https://docs.google.com/uc?export=download&id=**{{File_ID}}** 



OneDrive

  1. Click on share and allow anyone with the link to access your file:



 

  1. Click on insert and retrieve the generated URL that appears on the right side of the screen:



 

The URL will have the following format:

  1. Include the file ID in the URL below, so it can be used in Blip:

https://onedrive.live.com/download?**{{File_ID}}**



Hubspot

  1. Open the File Tool and upload the desired media file.
  2. Choose the “Details” option:

  1. Copy the URL of the link. It is already in the expected format by Blip.

RD Station

  1. Open the Central de Arquivos and upload the desired media file:

  1. In the list of files, click the button to copy the link on the line corresponding to your media file:

  1. On the page that will be displayed, copy the URL of the link. It is already in the expected format by Blip.
