Introduction

From the API, it is possible to integrate two or more distinct systems. The great advantage of this process is the customization of data from these systems in a secure and agile way. 

This guide contains instructions on how to integrate the STILINGUE API with Google Sheets for creating tables, charts, and dashboards. You can also connect the STILINGUE API to Google Data Studio and Microsoft PowerBI.

How to establish the connection?

First, you need to generate the token from your STILINGUE research dashboard. To 

learn more about this process, check out our guide on the STILINGUE API.

With the STILINGUE API, you can make requests for various types of data.

First, it is necessary to know which data will be included, for example, data from Overview:

 

The endpoint to be used is:

  • api.stilingue.com.br/wrapi/publicacoes/ <SEARCH TOKEN>

Important! Replace where <TOKEN> appears with the numbers of your token.

It is possible to include filters to increase the limit, date range, as well as various others found in the API documentation.

For the connection, we will use a test token with a limit of 400 publications from the publication wall in the last 3 days:

With the request in hand, we should connect to Google Sheets: 

1. Install the supermetrics add-on in the spreadsheet;

 

 

2. With the supermetrics plugin installed, add the API data source;

 

 

3. Add the API URL in the indicated field and click the "Get data to table"  button;

 

 

The data will be included in the table with automatic updates.

 

 

This way, you can already create your custom reports.

Note: With the integration in Google Sheets, it is also possible to use the spreadsheet for integrations with other tools, such as Tableau, for example.
