Data Importation January 12, 2024 14:31 Updated Index: Introduction How to Import Where to Find Imported Data in STILINGUE Limitations Introduction STILINGUE has developed a technology for importing external data that brings more analysis capabilities to clients and collaborators. With the importation, it is possible to include any data source in the platform and have that content processed by Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate data such as: sentiment analysis, terms, themes, and groups. In this way, the goal is to increase the analysis capacity in an account for sources that are not internally sourced, meaning not from STILINGUE. In addition to importing external sources, there is also the possibility of including social media posts that were not collected in the research. This feature can be helpful when there is a collection failure or when it's necessary to analyze a post that doesn't match the research descriptors for some specific reason. Including posts can also be an option if you have a database extracted directly from social networks or if you want to migrate from competitors' Social Listening platforms to STILINGUE. How to Import Currently, the import system can be done in 2 ways: 1. Via Spreadsheet and Professional Services In this case, it's necessary to extract the data to be imported into STILINGUE in a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet must contain: one column for text and another for date, which the Professional Services or Service Engineering teams can transform and import into the dashboard. For a faster process, the data can be sent already in the correct format (similar to this). This way, the process can be initiated. 2. Via Import APIAn internal API enables the automated import of data on a larger scale. This occurs when the collected database is too extensive, making import via spreadsheet unfeasible. In such cases, the data is transformed into code through an API to facilitate a lighter and more successful import. For automation, the client can have a system that exports publications or rely on a partner who sends exports via email at a frequency. Both options can be used to automatically send the data via API. Where to Find Imported Data in STILINGUE Within the Publication Filter, you can access a specific channel of imported data in the " WHERE " field, as indicated in the following image: All imports will be included in this channel. If you wish to work with different data sources, it's ideal to create a theme for each source, allowing you to filter them accordingly. Below is the format of the imported data card in the Publication Board: The card contains an icon in the upper left corner indicating the external origin of the data, in addition to presenting the following information: Likes; Shares; Comments; Video views; Followers; Groups; Themes; Note, the number of stars in the upper right corner, if the source has this type of rating data. In other words, the metrics and actions possible are the same as those in the Public Post card available in Listening. Important Information: Currently, data import can only be used in Listening; there is no support for Smart Care or proprietary metrics; All areas of Listening contain information about imported data (Overview, Zoom, Discoveries, Boards) ; Imported data can also be updated if necessary. Limitations Some social networks do not allow data extraction for subsequent imports due to Compliance ; importation may not be possible; The only fields that can be imported are those that appear in the "data mapping" tab of the example spreadsheet; it's not possible to add a new field.
