Introduction

The General Data Protection Law (LGPD / Law No. 13,709), approved in August 2018 and in effect from August 2020, was created with the intention of regulating and standardizing the treatment of personal data (various pieces of information that can identify a user) in order to promote equal protection for Brazilian citizens in the digital environment.

It's important to emphasize here that the personal data provided by the STILINGUE user is only used for the purposes outlined in section 2.1 of the platform's Privacy Policy (which is available further in the text, in the Links section). 

In addition to compliance with LGPD, the STILINGUE platform is approved by all partner social networks, ensuring the security of the treatment and storage of collected data.

How does data usage authorization work?

Aligned with best practices for transparency in the data used to deliver all of our services, STILINGUE provides informative notices on the platform about the use of cookies and the purposes for which personal data is collected. This information can also be easily accessed by the customer at any time in the comprehensive documentation.

 

Cookie Notice

When accessing STILINGUE, a window will appear at the bottom of the screen with the following message: "By clicking 'I Understand,' you agree to the storage of cookies on your device for essential navigation and performance of the Platform, in support of the customer service team, and to assist in our marketing initiatives, as described in our Platform Privacy Policy (accessible at this link)."

 

 

Privacy Policy

When logging in, a notice for reading and accepting the Platform Privacy Policy is presented, highlighting the changes made: 

"We have updated our Platform Privacy Policy with the following information: 

  • New contact method for the Data Controller
  • A new geographical location for storing personal data.

Read and accept the Policy:"

 

 

After clicking "I have read and accept," a confirmation message will be displayed in the top right corner of the screen:

 

 

Whenever the Privacy Policy is updated, the message will be presented again for awareness and consent to the new version.

The user must accept the terms of the messages in order to navigate on the official page and also in products such as Listening, STILINGUE Smart Care, and others that are part of the platform. These consents are necessary for the user to be in compliance with the use of cookies and personal data, and to understand that STILINGUE only uses the necessary information for the user to enjoy the contracted services and have a better experience in accordance with LGPD principles.
