How it works

Learn how to configure your search in Spanish to collect relevant publications. STILINGUE Spanish offers everything you already know about STILINGUE monitoring, now in the Spanish language. Learn more about this product by clicking here.

When creating a new search panel in Spanish on STILINGUE, it can be configured according to the researched context, where you should enter all the necessary terms for monitoring in Groups, words to classify publications in Themes, tags, and other information, just like in the Portuguese panel. Check out our basic Search Configuration guide if you want to review the configuration for Context and Groups.

Select the desired language for your Context and for your Groups and Themes.

When selecting Spanish as the language, it is important to input terms in that language, respecting the accentuation in case of questions and the differences with Portuguese. If you also select Portuguese, input terms in both languages when necessary.

Spanish publications will be included in the search only through monitoring via Listening. Once available, you will be able to analyze them on all the graphs in this area of the platform.

Artificial Intelligence Engine 

To collect data in the Spanish language and classify it accurately, the STILINGUE Spanish platform has a specific artificial intelligence engine for this language that processes the collected information separately from the information in Portuguese, ensuring that each language and its peculiarities are understood.

What is the Artificial Intelligence Engine?

To optimize access to millions of pieces of information and conversations in Portuguese, STILINGUE uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to deliver real-time accurate data, through its own Natural Language Processing (SNLP). The SNLP is the exclusive version created by the STILINGUE team of experts to translate natural language written into a computational version, applying language processing. Within the platform, it can be found in the automatic sentiment classification, the term relevance system, automatic gender detection, automatic language filter, and the AAA Influencer Ranking.

Aiming to collect publications in both languages, STILINGUE has created an AI engine specifically for the Spanish language, following the same technique and care that we apply to Portuguese. And giving you a spoiler, we conducted comparative tests with other engines, and ours outperformed and was more accurate than major international benchmarks.

For example, see how the sentiment analysis of the following publication in Spanish is classified by both engines:

Español: Positive

Portuguese: Negative

Above, we can see that the artificial intelligence engine specialized in processing Spanish posts was able to achieve a much more accurate classification of the above post, reducing not only classification errors but also the number of Unclassified and Neutral instances. Thus, when choosing the language(s) in the Search Configuration, the language of each post is identified and directed to the specific artificial intelligence engine for that language, ensuring that each language and its peculiarities are understood.

Note: Language classification in textless posts - where the content consists only of links, emojis, user mentions, numbers, email, or insufficient letters - will be conducted through language information available in links, mentions, or hashtags. 

In the absence of such information, the language will be classified through metadata, i.e., data that has some relation to the main post, such as the location and biography of users on a social network.
