Meta Message Template Management July 07, 2025 13:32 Updated OverviewThe "Contents" page in the Blip portal allows customers to create and view Meta message templates for active messaging campaigns. It centralizes the template lifecycle — from creation to approval status tracking and usage monitoring.How to access the pageClick the three dots icon and select the Contents page.Template creationThe process of creating a new Meta message template is intuitive and guided to ensure all of Meta's guidelines are followed. To create a new template, click the highlighted “Create template” button.Required information to fill inNotification name: An internal name for easy identification (use only lowercase letters, numbers, or the underscore character " _ ").Category: Select the message category according to Meta’s guidelines (Marketing, Utility, Authentication).Language: Define the template language (it’s possible to provide different translations for each template).Template type: Choose from the supported types (e.g.: Text Only, Media and Text — with image/video). To view all supported types, click here.Message body: Field to enter the main content of the message template, with support for variables (placeholders such as {{1}}, {{2}}).Preview and guides: During creation, a message preview is displayed on the side of the screen, showing how the message will appear to the end user. Evaluate message with AI (Text type only)After completing the required fields to create the template, click the “Evaluate message with AI” button.Blip will use Artificial Intelligence to validate the template based on Meta's guidelines and best practices. This validation is meant to guide message construction to minimize rejection risks from leads receiving the message and will be displayed in 3 evaluation levels: high rejection risk, low engagement risk, and satisfactory engagement level.If the evaluation returns high rejection risk or low engagement risk, a new text suggestion will be provided. Click “copy” and paste it, replacing the previous message.Submission: Click “Submit for review” to send the template to Meta for approval. Viewing existing templatesThe viewing section contains a table that gathers all existing templates, making it easy to monitor them.Template name: Unique and internal identifier for the template.Category: The template’s current category (Marketing, Utility, Authentication).Language: The language configured for the template (e.g.: pt_BR, en_US).Recategorization: Indicates if the template was recategorized by Meta, alerting the user about changes in the template’s original classification by Meta (this can affect message pricing).Status: The current status of the template on Meta. Score: The template’s quality score is adjusted by Meta based on how the audience reacts to the message. If there’s continuous negative feedback and low engagement, the template quality score tends to drop. Possible scores are: High quality, Medium quality, Low quality, Undetermined.
