How to integrate and send data from a bot to BotAnalytics January 24, 2023 12:57 Updated To send the information generated by your bot automatically to BotAnalytics, it is necessary to configure in Blip the API-KEY of your bot provided by the tool. Follow the steps below to perform the integration. 1 - Creating a bot in BotAnalytics If you already have a bot in BotAnalytics, go to step 2 (Adding BotAnalytics Token in Blip). Otherwise, follow all the steps below: a) Access BotAnalytics b) Create an account or log in to your account c) Click Settings> Bots and then the Add a new bot button d) Choose the Blip platform as your bot's construction platform and then enter the rest of the information: name of the bot, a category that best applies to your application and optionally a URL for the website and for your bot's image. Attention: you must choose Blip as your bot’s platform. e) Copy your bot's access Token. Note: You can find your bot's Token whenever you need by going to: Settings > Bots > Your bot details 2 - Adding BotAnalytics Token in Blip With your bot's Token in BotAnalytics, go to Blip portal, select your bot and click on Integrations. Choose the BotAnalytics integration and click on the Settings tab. Fill in the API-KEY field with the key generated by BotAnalytics in the previous step and click save. After that click on the Activate key (in the upper right field) to activate the integration. 3 - Testing integration All messages sent and received by the bot are automatically sent to BotAnalytics.
