How to add Blip Chat to a WordPress site – Blip | Blip Help

Adding the Blip Chat widget to a WordPress site is quite simple. Before you start, you will need a valid WordPress account and a previously created website.

Step by step

Access the administration panel of your website, access the Appearance module and choose the Editor option. Select a section of your website that is used on all pages that you want to display Blip Chat, for example, footer.php

2. Add the Blip Chat script, as indicated on the portal, in the section chosen in the previous step.

For clustered contracts outside the Take cluster, we must add a property indicating which URL it should use. In the same BlipChat channel installation tab, you can find how to use the URL correctly according to your contract. However, if necessary, you can also build it yourself.

3. After adding and adjusting the script, according to the style of your website, it will be necessary to allow the domain in the Blip portal.

4. Access the administration panel of your website, access the Appearance module and choose the Editor option. Select a section of your website that is used on all pages that you want to display Blip Chat, for example, footer.php

5. After adding the domain as valid, test it on your page.
