This occurs because each feature has its own criteria for selecting and counting publications and interactions. In Dash, the component considers the comments associated with the publications and interactions returned according to the applied filters, including proprietary publications, Stories, and Reels. Proprietary Metrics, on the other hand, presents data according to the selected social network and the counting criteria for that feature. Why can the values vary? Set of publications: the features may consider different sets of publications, including different types, such as dark posts. Interaction Filter: the “Indifferent” option may include third-party interactions, such as mentions, expanding the set of items considered. Status Filter: this filter applies to service items and may change the results displayed in the component, including excluding brand publications from the total even when all statuses are selected. Period analyzed: extended periods may show differences related to counter updates. Therefore, this factor should also be considered in the analysis.Important: Dash values and Proprietary Metrics values should not be compared directly as if they necessarily represented the same data set. Applying the same period, page, and social network filters does not guarantee identical results, because the selection and counting rules may also differ. When analyzing a discrepancy, check the applied filters and consider the specific rules of each feature before interpreting the values presented.
