[Closed Beta] Click Tracker in Templates with URL Button August 21, 2026 13:59 Updated Overview How it works for the company How it works for your customer Benefits of interaction measurement Pricing OverviewThe Click Tracker is a native platform feature developed to optimize the measurement of campaigns that use templates (marketing or utility) with external link buttons (URLs).General behavior: The company sends an active message with an external link button. The user clicks the button and is directed to the website or landing page. The platform automatically records the click, generating valuable data about engagement and the consumer journey. Important information: Automatic: The solution is part of the platform’s standard experience for templates with links and cannot be disabled. Ready to use: No prior or additional configuration is required to start tracking clicks. From invisible to clear insight: every click now tells a story of engagement, revealing consumer behavior, template effectiveness, and campaign results. How it works for the companyThe experience of creating and sending messages for your company remains simple and frictionless: Simplified setup: The process of creating templates with external link buttons remains exactly the same. You create your template normally on the platform. Automatic masking and shortening: When adding a URL to the button, the platform automatically applies Blip’s official shortener (levala.blip.ai). This masking enables click tracking without any manual configuration required from you. Hassle-free approval: The template is submitted and approved already with the URL formatted by the shortener, ensuring the click tracker works natively as soon as the message is sent. Flexible sending: The sending flow remains unchanged. You can perform your active sends normally, either individually or in mass campaign blasts. Analytical view: Click data is shown in the report available in Campaign Summary, which when exported will show the number of clicks segmented by campaign, template, and user, allowing you to understand real engagement. In summary: your company continues creating and sending campaigns as usual, while the click tracker works 100% automatically behind the scenes to generate intelligence and data about your audience’s engagement.Campaign reportClick data view How it works for your customerFor the customer receiving the message, the browsing experience remains smooth, fast, and completely secure: Message receipt: The customer continues receiving Marketing or Utility templates normally in the WhatsApp app. Direct and secure redirection: Although the link displays the shortened format (levala.blip.ai), nothing changes in the final destination. When clicking the button, the consumer is instantly redirected to the original URL configured by the company. Differences in preview: Marketing Templates on Smartphone: In the mobile app, the consumer will see the URL preview with the Blip shortener domain (levala.blip.ai). Utility Templates on Smartphone: No URL preview is displayed in the mobile app. WhatsApp Web / Desktop: No URL preview is displayed. Visually and usability-wise, nothing changes for customers using the web version. This information contributes to more data-driven management and a more complete understanding of the results achieved in communication actions. PricingThe Click Tracker charges are based on the moment of user interaction and the 24-hour cycle: First click (outside the active window): Recorded on the exact date of the click (regardless of when the template was sent). Counts as 1 message sent and 1 Customer Engagement Unit (CEU) (if the user does not have an active CEU at that moment). Additional clicks (within 24h): Do not generate new message charges or new CEUs; they are recorded only as engagement metrics. Clicks after 24h: Restart the cycle, counting a new message and a new CEU (if there is no active window). Attention: There is no "specific CEU" for the tracker (it only triggers the platform’s standard CEU). Eligible clicks are those subject to charging; Total clicks are eligible clicks plus additional clicks. Need more help?
