By editing contacts, the attendant will be able to update the customer's information, ensuring that the next stages of the sale or service occur smoothly. Prerequisites In order for the agent to have access to the Contact Editing functionality, the manager must enable the use of the feature through permission. All users registered in the chatbot, except for the manager, do not have access to the functionality and are unable to edit information until permission is granted. Permission of attendants To enable the use of the functionality for one or more users, on the “Helpdesks” page of the chatbot, click on the “Agents” section. You can set permissions individually by clicking on the permissions icon next to the Agents name (icon on the right of the screen between the Edit Line and Remove Agent option). On the next page, enable the feature by clicking on the “Edit contact information via Blip Desk” button. Bulk permissioning is also allowed. To do this, on the “Helpdesks” page, in the “Agent” section, click on the checkbox in front of the "Agents' name and then on the permission icon, visible once the selection is made, at the top above the list of Agents (between the option of Edit Line and Remove Agent). On the next page, enable the feature by clicking on the “Edit contact information via Blip Desk” button. It is worth remembering that the permission of agents is done by bot. For example: if an agent works on two or more bots and receives permission on a single bot, it means that he will have the visibility of the “Edit” contact button on tickets of only one bot, where permission was granted. Contact edit flow in Blip Desk To edit information on the Desk, in the “Profile” section, click on the “Edit” button in the upper right corner of the screen. The name, phone, email and document fields will open for editing or adding information. Finally, click on “Save”. A pop-up will open asking you to confirm the change of contact details across the Blip platform, click on “Save changes”. It is important to remember that, at the moment, there is no record of edited information for conference in Blip Desk.
