Limit of active messages per client in 24 hours May 05, 2025 23:47 Updated It is now possible to set a limit for the number of active messages an agent can send to the same contact within a 24-hour period, directly through Blip Desk. This feature helps prevent excessive message sending and ensures more controlled and efficient communication with customers. Note: Release on 05/13/2025. Index What was the problem? Previously, there was no control over how many active messages could be sent to a single contact within a 24-hour period. This could lead to excessive communication, making the customer experience repetitive or even intrusive. What changes with this improvement? With the new control enabled: Each agent will be able to send only X active messages per customer within a 24-hour period (where X is defined in the settings).If the limit is reached, sending will be blocked.The agent will receive a notification indicating the reason for the restriction, with an error message and an explanatory tooltip directly in the interface. How to configure the limit? The setting is made in the General Settings of the service bot. Follow the steps below: Access the Blip PortalGo to the Service menuClick on General SettingsScroll down to the Active Messages sectionEnable the option “Limit the total number of active messages per customer”Set the maximum number of messages that can be sent to a customer within 24 hours See below how this setting appears in the platform: To perform this configuration, the user must have permission to edit the bot's general settings.
