Introduction

The extension Broadcast List was designed to simplify distribution list management in Blip, offering an easy-to-use interface to view, create, and delete lists, as well as add or remove contacts.

 

Manage your distribution lists with ease!

With the Broadcast List extension, it has become much easier to reach the right customers.

 

How it works?

The extension offers the following functionalities:

  • View all of your bot's distribution lists.
  • Add a new distribution list.
  • Delete distribution lists.
  • View, add, or remove members from a distribution list.
  • View all bot contacts and add them to a distribution list.
  • Filter bot contacts
  • View all information for a contact
  • View all bot contacts

 

Installation and configuration

When activating the extension through the Blip Store, it must be installed on the bot that will send active notifications.

Follow the steps below to install the extension:

  • Log in to the Blip platform.
  • Access the Blip Store
  • Search for "Broadcast List” and select
  • Install the extension on the desired bot

After installation, you will be able to use the extension.

 

Limitations

 Observation:When using the active notification scheduler of Blip, note that it still It is not possible to schedule uploads to the WhatsApp channel.

 

Usage examples

Create a New Distribution List

  1. Access the “Manage Lists” tab.

  2. Type the desired name in the “New list” field and click “Add”.

Add a Contact as a Member of a List

  1. Access the “Manage Contacts” tab.

  2. Select a distribution list in the “List” selection.

  3. Select one or more contacts in the “Contacts” table and click “Add”.

Import Contacts via a .txt file

  1. Access the “Manage Contacts” tab.

  2. Select a distribution list in the “List” selection.

  3. Choose the correctly formatted .txt file and click “Import”.

View Members of a List

  1. Access the “Manage Members” tab.

  2. Select a distribution list in the “List” selection.

Remove Members from a List

  1. Access the “Manage Members” tab.

  2. Select a distribution list in the “List” selection.

  3. Select one or more members in the “Members” table and click “Remove”.

Remove Distribution Lists

  1. Access the “Manage Lists” tab.

  2. Select one or more lists in the “List” table and click “Remove”.
