[Extension] How to integrate Tray with Blip July 07, 2025 21:48 Updated Introduction Features Prerequisites Installation and configuration Configure active notifications on WhatsApp Check orders in the chatbot using Builder Track sends in Growth Support Brief description: Connect your Tray store to the chatbot in Blip to check orders through the bot and send WhatsApp notifications whenever the order status changes, without writing code. IntroductionThe Tray extension connects your store on the Tray platform to a chatbot in Blip and does two things: it allows customers to check an order within the bot flow and sends active WhatsApp messages whenever an order changes status in Tray. This way, customers can track their purchase without having to ask, which reduces post-sales contacts, and you can configure everything through the extension and Builder, without development. For example, when an order changes to "Payment approved" in Tray, Blip automatically sends a WhatsApp template notifying the customer. At any time, the customer can also type the order number in the chatbot to see the current status directly from the store. Features Order lookup in the chatbot flow: the customer enters the order number and the bot returns the data directly from Tray. Active WhatsApp notifications by order status: each configured status sends an approved template when the order changes. Template variables filled with fixed values or Tray fields, using [customer.campo] for customer data and [order.campo] for order data. Positioning the contact in a specific bot and flow after they respond to the notification. Supported on the WhatsApp channel for active notifications. Order lookup in the flow works on any channel where your bot is published. Prerequisites An active Tray store with administrative access. A Blip contract and bot with permission to install extensions. A WhatsApp channel connected to the bot, or to a router with WhatsApp, for active notifications. Message templates approved by WhatsApp, if you use notifications. Google Chrome with the Builder extension installed, if you use order lookup in Builder. Installation and configurationInstall the Wiv Blip app in the Tray storeGo to the Tray login page and enter your store's code, name, or domain. Click Continue.Enter your username and password and sign in to the platform. In the side menu, click Apps.Click Install new apps in the upper-right corner.Search for "Wiv," click Filter, find the Wiv Blip app, and click Install app. Tray opens the integration screen. The app may still appear as White Wall Blip, the company's former name.Note: if the app does not appear in the search, contact Tray to enable access.Copy and save the URL and Code displayed on the screen. You will use them to connect the store in Blip.Warning: the URL and Code are confidential. Do not share them in public documents, open tickets, or screenshots.Install and connect the extension in BlipGo to the Tray extension in Blip Store. It also appears when you search for Tray in your contract's Blip Store.Click Start free trial, select the contract, and choose the bot or router where the extension will be installed. Confirm the installation. Install it on the router with WhatsApp connected, or on a service bot connected to that router, to use active notifications. Open the extension from the bot menu. On the Settings tab, fill in the fields and click Save: Store ID: the number you use to log in to Tray. URL: the URL copied during app installation. Code: the code generated by Tray. The extension tests the connection to the store. If the information is correct, the message "Saved successfully" appears and the store is connected. If the connection fails, review the URL, Code, and Store ID. Configure active notifications on WhatsAppActive notifications send a WhatsApp template every time an order changes status in Tray. Configure everything on the extension's WhatsApp Automation tab.Warning: the bot needs an active WhatsApp channel. If WhatsApp is not published on the bot, open the extension through the router with WhatsApp connected.Open the WhatsApp Automation tab on the extension page.Under Configure bot, select the Parent router bot with WhatsApp connected and click Save and continue. If you installed the extension directly on the router with WhatsApp, this step is completed automatically.Under Order status, choose the Tray status that triggers the message, such as Payment approved or Order shipped.Under Message template, select a template approved by WhatsApp. Fill in each Variable with a fixed value or a Tray field: use [customer.campo] for customer data (for example, [customer.name]) and [order.campo] for order data. The extension's variable table lists the available customer and order fields. If the template has an image in the header, enter the Media link.Note: each status accepts one template. The number and order of variables must match the approved template. Only templates approved and available on the selected bot appear; if your template does not appear, check the WhatsApp channel, approval status, and synchronization with Meta.To direct the contact after they respond, enable Position user in bot and select the destination Bot and Flow. This step is optional.Click Continue and save. The configuration appears in the View messages step, where you can edit or remove each status at any time.Note: perform the first test with a test order or an internal contact before expanding the sends. Check orders in the chatbot using BuilderWith order lookup, the customer enters the order number in the flow and the bot returns the data directly from Tray.On the extension's Settings tab, click Install extension. You are taken to the Chrome Web Store. Click Use in Chrome and confirm the installation. Return to Blip and refresh the page.Warning: order lookup through Builder requires Google Chrome with this extension installed.Open the chatbot's Builder, click Add new block, and choose New integration. Open the created block, go to the Integrations tab, and select Tray. Under Action, choose Get Order. Under Order, enter the variable that stores the order number entered by the customer, for example {{pedido}}. The name depends on your flow configuration. Under Result variable, define the variable that will store the response from Tray, for example trayResult1. Save the integration, save the block, publish the flow, and run a test. Note: use the response to show the status to the customer, create conditions in the flow, and handle orders that are not found. Track sends in GrowthA status change in Tray starts the automation, but it does not confirm that the message was delivered. To check the send result, access the Growth area of the bot used for the sends and open active message tracking. Filter by period, template, or contact to see statuses such as Sent, Delivered, Read, and Failed. SupportIf you have questions or problems with the extension, contact us at support@wiv.com.br.
