Publication Collection in Partnership December 13, 2024 12:36 Updated Learn more about this format of publications and ensure that they are collected by STILINGUE. Partnership publication is a specific content format where an owner's page or profile makes a paid post in collaboration with another page. There are different ways to identify such a publication, depending on the social network. In the case of Meta (Facebook and Instagram), a partnership publication appears in the feed as "page 1 with page 2" Collection and limitations Currently, STILINGUE can collect partnership publications from Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. To perform the collection, it is necessary to adhere to the following conditions: The page responsible for the publication (page 1) must be connected to STILINGUE, so the collection of the publication and comments is done normally; If only page 2 (the partner page) is connected to the platform, comment collection will not be performed. For partnership publications created on Instagram, you can still view the post for page 2 in IG Proprietary Metrics > Tags. If page 1 is not connected, comment collection for page 2 will only occur if page 1 mentions page 2 with the tag @. In other words, the collection flow is similar to mention comments, unlike when page 1 is connected; In the case of Reels, due to API limitations, collaborative posts—also known as collabs—cannot be guaranteed to be collected. Note: In the case of Reels, the collection of paid partnership publications is not guaranteed by Meta. Attention! It is important to note that STILINGUE does not collect paid partnership publications. Another point of attention regarding partnership content is that when generating this publication, two distinct links are created on the social network, with different IDs. One of the generated links refers to a publication as a mention for the owner's page, which is connected to the platform, and the other link corresponds to a visitor's post to the page. If the page receives a comment made on the visitor's post link, the comment is linked to that publication. If the comment was made on the mention link, it is linked to that other page. Note: Due to Meta's API updates, comments on mention posts will be collected in an anonymized manner, such as "anonymous users," which will prevent responses via Smart Care.
