Main features
This Blip extension allows you to close agent tickets from "Desk" automatically. It has two main functions:
- [Available soon] Close all open tickets at the moment.
- Schedule recurring closing of tickets, specifying days of the week and times.
The extension only closes tickets in progress. Tickets in the queue will not be changed.
Installation
To install the extension, follow these steps:
- Go to the Blip extensions page.
- Look for the "Ticket Closing Scheduler" extension.
- Click on add extension.
How to use the Ticket Closing Scheduler extension?
To use the extension, we must complete the form with the connection information of the Chatbot that uses Desk and configure when you want to close open tickets manually or by scheduling an automatic recurrence.
Recurring closing scheduling feature
The required data is:
- API KEY (obtained from bot connection information)
- Recurrence data for automatic ticket closure
- Weekdays
- Closing time
- Time zone
- Closing tags
We confirm the form data, and the recurrence of automatic closures for that chatbot is already scheduled.
Close all tickets feature

- API KEY (obtained from bot connection information)
- Closing tags
We confirm the data in the form, and the data that allows us to use the manual close button for all tickets currently open is already loaded.
To close all currently open tickets, follow these steps:
- Go to the extension's settings page.
- Click the "Close all open tickets" button.
Update recurrence data
Just edit the recurrence data:
- Recurrence data for automatic ticket closure
- Weekdays
- Closing time
Finally, we click on update and confirm the new recurrence configuration for automatic ticket closing.
Disable recurrence
To deactivate the recurring automatic closing of previously configured open tickets, we have to click the opt-in that we find on the extension configuration page.
