Sending File Setup To perform mass notification sending, you need to configure the variables in your message template and your audience. We will guide you step by step on how to do everything correctly. First, you need to upload a .csv file with the contact list to Blip. Be aware that only the following will be accepted: Comma (,) and semicolon (;) separated files It is necessary to include the +DDI or 0DDI and DDD for the correct sending of the active message, for example, 05511999999999 or +5511999999999 The variable names at the top of the columns should not contain special characters In this file, the contacts should be listed in the first column. If there are variables in the template, you must add a column for each variable with its corresponding value for each contact on the list. Each column must have a name. The substitution of variable values should follow this order: Media variable Button variable Text variable Therefore, the columns in your file, with the variable values, must follow this left-to-right order. The header variable order takes precedence over the others. So, the priority order (though not mandatory) if it doesn’t exist in the Message Template is: Phone, button, urllink, extra1, extra2, extra3, etc. or phone; button; urllink; extra1; extra2; extra3, etc. All these fields will be saved in the Contact's extras and can be used by agents during the conversation. Please note that in our examples, some variable types have precedence over others, even if in the chosen template they are in a different order. But don’t worry, Blip will always show you which value will be substituted in the variables! Templates Without Variables In this example, your audience spreadsheet will not have any variables, so it only contains a column with the contact numbers, in the format DDIDDDnumber. It is important that all numbers are together and without special characters.
