[Extension] How to write and improve scripts with AI in Builder/Studio using the Script AI Copilot extension October 05, 2026 19:07 Updated Introduction Demonstration video Features Prerequisites Installation and configuration How to use Script AI Copilot in the script editor Usage examples Important considerations Support Brief description: AI assistant integrated into the Builder/Studio script editor. Complete, explain, refactor, and fix your chatbot code without leaving your workflow. IntroductionScript AI Copilot adds an artificial intelligence assistant to the Builder/Studio script editor. It suggests code as you write and, when you ask, explains, refactors, or fixes an entire script, reducing the time needed to write, understand, and maintain chatbot scripts. For example, if you have a run function that handles only one contact status, the assistant completes the remaining cases or reorganizes the code to make it more readable without taking you out of your building workflow. The assistant appears as the Script Assistant button inside the Run script action editor. To use it, you enable the extension in your bot and install the browser extension that injects the assistant into Builder/Studio. Demonstration videoSee the extension in use in the demonstration: Features Real-time completions: code suggestions as you write in the Builder/Studio editor. AI chat: integrated panel for asking questions, refactoring code, and generating complete scripts. Quick actions: Explain code, Refactor code, and Fix code with one click. Edit history: undo changes made by AI without losing the context of what was modified. Because it operates in the Builder/Studio script editor, Script AI Copilot works with bots on any channel available on the Blip platform. Prerequisites A bot on Blip with permission to install extensions. Google Chrome or a compatible browser, such as Microsoft Edge, with permission to install extensions. A block with a Run script action in the Builder/Studio flow. Attention: Script AI Copilot is a paid-plan extension with a free trial in the Blip Store. Usage is measured monthly across two types of requests, completions and chat, and renews automatically each month. The extension page shows your current usage compared to your plan limit. Installation and configurationConfiguration has two parts: enabling the extension in your bot and installing the browser extension. Enable it in the same bot where you edit scripts, because that is where the assistant will appear.Enable the extension in your bot Open Script AI Copilot in the Blip Store and start the free trial. Follow the instructions to add the extension. Open the bot where you edit scripts. In the platform's upper-right corner, click the three-dot menu and open the Script AI Copilot extension page. Click Enable. The extension is linked to the bot and synchronized with your plan. Install the browser extensionEnabling the extension in Blip is not enough. The browser extension injects the assistant into the Builder/Studio editor. On the extension page, click Install extension. You are redirected to the Chrome Web Store, to the Builder/Studio Browser Extension page. Click Add to Chrome, confirm the installation, and accept the permissions. Wait for the completion message. Return to Blip and refresh the page. How to use Script AI Copilot in the script editorOpen the Run script action editor Open the bot in Builder/Studio. Click New block, define a name, and open the block settings (or open an existing block). In the block settings, open the Actions tab. Click Add entry action. The action runs when the contact enters the block. Select Run script from the list of actions. Click the Script field to open the editor. With the browser extension active, the Script Assistant button appears in the editor. If it does not appear, refresh the Blip page and confirm that the extension is enabled in the browser. Define a return variable for the action. Analyze and generate code with the assistant Type or paste the code you want to work on. As you write, the assistant suggests inline completions. You can use it with an existing script or a new script. Click Script Assistant to open the panel. It shows the options Explain code, Refactor code, and Fix code, as well as a conversation field for asking whatever you need. Select an option or write a request in the chat. The assistant returns the result, which you apply to the editor. Note: the result generated by AI is a suggestion. Review the code before saving. Saving the script does not publish the chatbot: after applying the change, save the action, save the block, publish the flow, and test it on a staging channel. Usage examplesConsider a script that checks a contact variable and returns a message according to the value received. Initial code:As you write the code, the assistant suggests the continuation and handles the remaining scenarios: Important considerations The Script Assistant appears only in the Run script action editor. It is not displayed in actions such as HTTP Request, Set variable, Event log, or Service redirection. The extension must be active in the same bot where you edit the script. In another bot, the button may not appear. The browser extension must be installed and enabled in your browser, with permission to work on the Blip page.
