Brief description: Integrate Blip with Exact Spotter (Exact Sales) and create, update, and search for leads in your sales CRM directly from the chatbot flow.

Introduction

The Exact Spotter extension connects Blip bots to Exact Spotter (Exact Sales), a prospecting and sales CRM. During a conversation, the bot collects the contact's information and sends it to Exact Spotter, creating or updating the lead without any manual work from the sales team.

For example, when a visitor provides their name, phone number, and identification document during a WhatsApp interaction, the flow creates the lead in Exact Spotter immediately. If the phone number already exists in the database, the extension updates the record instead of creating a duplicate, and the sales team finds the lead ready in the pipeline.

Features

• Creates leads in Exact Spotter from the data collected in the bot flow.

• Automatically updates existing leads: the Create or update lead action uses the phone number to identify an existing record and update it.

• Searches for registered leads by email, phone number, identification document (CPF or CNPJ), or name.

• Fills in custom fields in your Exact Spotter account with fixed values or Builder variables.

• Sends data such as name, identification document, mobile phone number and country code, industry, source, subsource, SDR email, group, website, product, full address, and description to the lead record.

Supported on all channels available on the Blip platform.

Prerequisites

• An active Exact Spotter (Exact Sales) account with the Exact API Token available.

• A bot in Blip with access to Builder and permission to edit and publish the flow.

• Google Chrome browser with the Builder extension installed, which is required to configure the integration action in the flow.

Installation and configuration

Activate the extension in Blip Store

1. Go to Exact Spotter in Blip Store and click Start free trial.

2. Choose the service bot where the extension will be used—that is, the bot whose Builder flow will create and search for leads.

3. Complete the installation. The extension will appear in the bot's list of installed extensions.

Get the Exact API Token

1. Sign in to your Exact Spotter account.

2. Go to Settings, click Integrations, and select Exact API Token.

3. Copy the displayed token.

The token is sensitive credential information. Do not share the token in screenshots, documents, or support tickets. For details about the token, see the official Exact Spotter documentation.

Configure the token in Blip

1. Open the bot where the extension was installed and access the Exact Spotter extension.

2. Paste the token into the Your Exact Sales company token (token_exact) field.

3. Click Save. Blip validates the token with Exact Spotter and confirms the configuration. If the token is incorrect, an error message is displayed.

Install the browser extension

To configure the integration within Builder, you need the Builder extension in Chrome.

1. On the extension screen, click Install extension.

2. In the Chrome Web Store, click Add to Chrome and complete the installation.

3. Return to the Blip Portal.

How to create the integration in Builder

Add the integration block

1. Open the bot's Builder.

2. Click Add block.

3. Select New integration.

If New integration does not appear, refresh the page by pressing F5. This option depends on the browser extension being installed.

4. Open the block you created, go to Actions, add an action of the Integration type, and choose Exact Spotter.

Choose the action and configure the data

1. In the Action field, choose Search for lead or Create or update lead.

2. For Create or update lead, fill in the lead fields with fixed values or Builder variables. The Mobile phone field is used to identify an existing lead: if the phone number exists in the database, the extension updates the record; if it does not exist, it creates a new one. Your Exact Spotter account's custom fields appear at the end of the form and follow the type defined in the CRM (text, number, or choice).

3. For Search for lead, select the Search Field (Email, Phone, Identification document, or Name) and enter the value in Search.

4. Fill in the Result variable to store the integration response. The variable receives the data of the created, updated, or found lead.

Publishing and testing

1. Review the block fields and confirm that the Builder variables have values.

2. Click Publish in Builder.

3. Start a test conversation and provide the information requested by the flow.

4. Open Exact Spotter and confirm that the lead was created or updated.
