Objective

Ensure that users only use the "Online" status when they are available for service. When an agent sets their status to "On Break" or "Invisible," the use of Blip Desk becomes restricted until the status is changed back to "Online."

This way, operations can ensure that only users who are Online are available for service.

How to Configure

Access the "Service" menu

Go to the General Settings section and scroll down the page until you find the option "Block Desk usage while the agent is away"

When you select the Toggle, you should see the message

Pause Lock

When the agent changes their status to "On Break" and selects the reason for the break and clicks to confirm the status change, they will see the following message:

And the entire Blip Desk workspace will be locked.

As long as the agent does not click on "Go Online," no other Desk functionality will be available.

Locking in Invisible Status

When the agent changes their status to "Invisible," they will see the following message:

And the entire Desk workspace will be locked.

As long as the agent does not click on "Go Online," no other Desk functionality will be available.
