[Beta] Audience Management: Segment and Reuse Your Contacts Intelligently June 25, 2026 15:15 Updated Index What are audiences? Data quality and source How to create an audience How audience calculation works Saving and reusing audiences When to use Audience Management Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Support links The Audience Management feature allows you to create, save, and reuse segmented audiences directly on the Blip platform. No spreadsheets. No rework. With it, you define segmentation criteria, view the estimated audience size, and use that audience in your campaigns simply and scalably. What are audiences?Audiences are sets of contacts defined by filters applied to the data available in your contract. Unlike fixed lists, audiences are dynamic: they store the search criteria, not the contacts themselves. This ensures that the data is always up-to-date at the time of use.Attention: The Audience Management feature is available in public beta for clients on outcomes plans. Data quality and source For segmentation to work correctly, it is essential that contact data is filled in the appropriate profile fields. The search only considers structured profile attributes, which means that: Information saved in contact extras is not used for segmentation If data (such as a name, for example) is saved only in extras, it will not be considered in the search We recommend ensuring that important information is stored in the profile fields available for segmentation. If you have questions about this topic, contact your company's partner, your Blip service cell, or your internal technical team. How to create an audience When configuring an active sending campaign, you can define the audience in two ways:1. Using profile attributesYou can segment contacts based on information such as: Name Phone number Email City Gender Date of last message sent by the contact Document number These filters can be combined to refine your audience.Tips for filling out filters: Name and city: you can type only part of the value (e.g., "Jo" or "San"), and the search will find related matches. At least 3 characters are required. Email: partial searches are also accepted (e.g., "gmail" or part of the address). Gender: must be selected from available options. Date of last message: can be used as a specific date or range. 2. Using the audience from a previous campaignIt is also possible to reuse the audience from a campaign already executed. In this case, you can apply additional filters on this audience: All contacts Only those who read Only those who did not read Only those who replied Only those who did not reply Current version limitations: It is not yet possible to combine multiple audiences (from various previous sends) It is not yet possible to combine a previous audience with profile filters (you must choose one mode or the other) It is not yet possible to send messages using templates with variables This means messages that depend on dynamic personalization (such as the customer's name, for example) still require other sending formats. How audience calculation worksAfter defining the filters, you can click Calculate audience. This process returns an estimate of the audience size, helping you understand the potential reach of your campaign before sending. The number shown is an estimate, used to guide segmentation validation. It does not necessarily reflect the exact number of contacts who will receive the message. Saving and reusing audiencesYou can save your audiences for future reuse. This allows you to: Standardize recurring campaigns Gain speed in creating new sends Ensure consistency in segmentation Saved audiences store the segmentation criteria, not the contacts. This means that whenever you reuse a saved audience, it will reflect the most updated data at the time of use. When to use Audience Management This feature is especially useful when you want to: Reach the right audience more intelligently, without relying on external manual segmentations Reduce the use of external spreadsheets (CSV) Create recurring segmentations Reuse audiences from previous campaigns Test different engagement strategies based on behavior Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)1. No. You can select only one previous campaign audience at a time.4. Does the audience save contacts or filters? The audience saves only the segmentation criteria. Contacts are defined dynamically at the time of use.5. Is the number shown when calculating the audience exact? Not necessarily. The number shown is an estimate used to guide segmentation validation before sending.6. What happens if contact data changes? Since audiences are dynamic, they always reflect the most updated data at the time of use.7. Do I always need to click "Calculate audience"? No, but calculating the approximate audience helps you get a sense of the size of the audience that will be impacted.8. Can I reuse an audience in different campaigns? Yes. Saved audiences can be freely reused, making it easier to create new sends.9. Can I use these audiences with any type of template?
