Setting up Watson Assistant as Your AI Provider January 08, 2024 23:33 Updated Index: Introduction Creating an Account on Watson Configuring Watson Assistant Additional Articles Introduction To activate the integration between Blip and the Watson Assistant service (formerly Conversation)-IBM's Natural Language Processing (NLP) provider, a few simple configurations are required. Creating an Account on Watson Before starting, make sure you have created your account on Watson through the Bluemix console. Configuring Watson Assistant Access the Blip portal, select your bot, and choose the Artificial Intelligence module. Choose the IBM Watson provider. After choosing the Watson provider, click on the Settings tab. Open a new tab in your browser and access your account on Bluemix. After logging in, in the Bluemix dashboard, create a Watson service of the Assistant type. Note: There might be API usage limits depending on the chosen plan that can affect service utilization. At least 3 workspaces are required to use Conversation in Blip. Access the service you just created and choose, in the side menu, the Manage option. In the credentials listing, select View Credentials, copy the API-Key values and URL presented. Paste the collected fields from the previous step into the Blip portal and click Save. Ready!!
