Introduction


The Customized Link for WhatsApp allows you to customize redirection links for WhatsApp (Click To WhatsApp). With this extension, you can choose a specific block of your bot and customize the redirection text.

For example: You have a specific block for registration in a sale and intend to make a campaign in the social media. With the Link Generator for WhatsApp, you create a redirection URL for this block and advertise it on your social networks. Use this new functionality and create Entry Points and even more assertive Campaigns by channeling your service on WhatsApp.


How does it work?


The Link Generator for WhatsApp is an extension that allows you to register, edit, and delete redirection keywords and to which block of a given skill the user will redirect the contact if the keyword is typed.

The extension allows you:

⦁ To generate click to WhatsApp
⦁ To redirect users that access Click2Wpp for specific blocks

WhatsApp is the only supported channel.


Installation and settings


When the extension is activated through Blip Store, it should be installed in the same bot in which the WhatsApp is active.
Important: In case of router, the bots must be under the same contract.

Using the extension

 

⦁ Registering keywords
To register keywords, simply access the extension and follow the steps below.

1) Click on Generate new link

2) Select the bot and block to which you wish to redirect or tick the option Use only the main smart contact.

Important: The selection box may not exhibit all of your smart contact’s blocks. It happens because only the blocks that can be chosen for redirection will be available.

To find out which criteria a block must satisfy to be electable, click on Find out what are electable blocks to open the instruction panel:

If you select the Use only the main smart contact option, the contact will not be redirected and will proceed to the standard beginning.

3) Type the keyword(s) and click on Generate link

Once you do it, an alert will be exhibited, informing you that the router context will be activated for the bot(s) if the user wishes to proceed:

4) Copy the link generated by the extension in “Copy link”

  • To edit or delete a link
    To edit or delete a link, click respectively on the pencil or trash bin icons, at the right of the registered item.

1)To edit the link, the screen will return to the registration screen, but the data fields will be already filled. You can change the destination link or simply generate it once again to recopy it.

2) To delete a link, just click on the trash bin icon and confirm it.

Warning: Once the link is generated, when you access the builder of the monolithic bot or in every sub-bot (in case of a router), the following settings should appear automatically:

Use examples



Use the customized link for WhatsApp to increase your conversions in:

  • Posts in the social media;
  • Instagram’s bio;

Note: The same bot cannot use two routers when it comes to custom links.
