To make each new conversation better than the previous one, you can save this information from your customers in Blip, through the "Set Contact" action, available in all content blocks of Blip. This information will be accessible in the Contacts module of the portal and in Blip Desk, and it can also be reused throughout the conversational flow to provide a personalized experience for your customers. How to Retrieve Information Sent in Messages by Customers In the Builder, select the content block where you request information from the contact/customer and click on "User Input" to configure it: Enable the "Save response in variable" option and give a name to your variable: Verify that in the content settings of your block, the "user input" now appears with the name of the variable configured earlier: Now, the message sent by your customer will be stored in this variable, making it available for use in the conversational flow and for saving for future analysis. How to Save Contact Information To save customer information, you must use the "Set Contact" action: Important: you must create this action in a content block where the information has already been sent by the contacts. Otherwise, you will not store anything in the contact. Use the variables you created earlier to save the data in the corresponding fields. In Blip, you can define Name, Email, City, Phone, Document and Gender of a contact, which can be used to find a contact and analyze their conversation in the Contacts module. Additionally, you can define extra fields to save more information and preferences of your contacts. To do this, simply click on "+ Add extra attribute", define a key for the extra field, and save the value using variables, as shown in the example below: After saving the information using the "Set Contact" action, you can use it in the conversational flow without the contact/customer having to provide it again. To do this, you will need to use Blip's standard contact variables, such as {{contact.name}}, {{contact.email}} e {{contact.taxDocument}}.
