Using the app and triggering active messages is simple and does not require programming knowledge. First, create a new journey in the "Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder." Visit the "Message" section. There, you will find the "Active Messages - WhatsApp" component, which should be dragged into the journey. Attention! The entry source of the journey must be a Data Extension (DE). In the app, select a property from your DE (contact list variable) to indicate the phone number. This field will ALWAYS be replaced with a SALESFORCE VARIABLE. Then, define the "Message Template" and its variables. You can use either Salesforce contact variables or simple variables. Attention! Salesforce variables must always be specified using square brackets. For example, to use the "NAME" variable, you should enter it as "[NAME]" (without quotes). You can also optionally set up a bot to redirect users. Once the configuration is complete, click "Save" and remember to publish the journey so that it begins running.
