How to Generate Charges on WhatsApp in Blip Go August 28, 2026 12:58 Updated Introduction Registration Keeping Your Registration Updated How to Generate the Charge Trigger Status Update Is Automatic What Your Customer Receives Automatically After the Charge IntroductionFrom a payment trigger, it is possible to generate a charge directly in the WhatsApp conversation with your customer, using a natural language message, without complicated commands, without needing to access another system, and without technical integration. In practice: you write a message saying you will generate a charge, informing the amount and what is being sold, and the system automatically identifies this information, displaying a payment component to your customer within the conversation itself. This way, you don’t need to leave WhatsApp to generate a link or a charge. The customer receives the payment request in the same conversation, which reduces the chance of them abandoning the purchase. Before You Start CNPJ and company information (business name, commercial address). Legal representative’s identity document (RG or CNH, front and back). A clear selfie, without glasses or a hat. Bank details of a checking or savings account linked to the CNPJ. RegistrationTo use the payment trigger, it is necessary to enable the payments feature on the Blip Go! portal first. This process is called registration and only needs to be done once. How to start: Access the Blip Go! portal and click on Checkout in the side menu. On the presentation screen, click Activate now. You will be directed to the registration welcome screen. Make sure to have all the necessary documents ready (the process takes about 10 minutes). Click All set, let's go! to begin. The form is divided into 4 steps: Company information: business name, CNPJ, commercial address, and payment category Legal representative: personal data, residential address, identity document, and facial verification Bank details: account linked to the CNPJ to receive the proceeds from your sales Receipts and fees: selection of receipt conditions All information is mandatory. Make sure to have everything on hand before starting to avoid interruptions in the process. After completing the registration, the Payments feature is enabled for your number. From then on, you can monitor everything via the Overview tab, which shows the status of your registration and a summary of charges generated for the customer:Additionally, a new Settings tab becomes available. This is where you define, for example, which message the customer will receive in the component, the message sent when the payment is approved, and which payment methods will be active:Keeping Your Registration UpdatedAfter registration, it is important to keep your company’s data always updated to continue receiving payments without interruptions.Registration Update NoticeAs long as there is any pending issue with your registration, a bar appears at the top of all Blip Go screens, notifying you that you need to update your data. This notice appears every time you log in and your registration status is Pending, Expired, or Overdue. If everything is fine, the notice does not appear. In the Pending and Overdue statuses, it is possible to close the notice, which will reappear on the next login. In the Expired status, the notice cannot be closed due to the risk of blocking receipts.By clicking Update now, you are directed to a form to confirm your company’s and legal representative’s data. Why the Update Is RequestedThe registration update may be requested in two ways: Periodic: on a fixed cycle (for example, every 6 or 12 months), as part of regular registration maintenance. Occasional: when something specific related to your account is identified, a specific data update is requested. How to Generate the Charge TriggerTo generate the charge, simply send a message to your customer (or reply to their message) notifying that you will generate the charge by text or audio, whichever you prefer at the moment. There is no fixed mandatory format: you can write as you normally speak day to day, the system understands the message context and automatically identifies the data. What the Message Needs to Include A keyword indicating the intent to charge, such as: generate, charge, bill, pay, or payment. The product or service price. This information is mandatory; without it, the payment component will not be displayed. The payment method (optional). If not provided, the system automatically shows all payment methods you have active. The quantity (optional). If not provided, the default is 1. The product or service name (optional). If not provided, the system displays "Payment" as the default name. These same details apply both to typed messages and audio messages; the only difference is the sending method.Write in the Way You PreferThe trigger recognizes natural messages, as if you were simply replying to the customer in the conversation. For example:“Alright! I’ll generate your charge for 10 reais here.”“Okay, I’ll generate your charge for 10 reais for the cake via Pix.”There is no need to follow an order, a template, or separate fields by line; the system identifies the keyword, the amount, the product, and the payment method regardless of how the sentence is structured. If you prefer to keep a more organized structure (for example, to review before sending), you can also write like this:“Okay! I’ll generate the charge! Total amount: R$1.00 Product: Brigadeiro Payment method: PIX Quantity: 1”Both formats work equally well; use whichever is faster for you at the moment.Quantity and Price: "per" vs. "each"When the message includes quantity, the system understands the context to know if the provided price is the total or the unit price: "I’ll generate a charge for 2 chairs for 150" → generates a charge for 2 chairs with a total amount of R$150 (the provided amount is already the total). "I’ll generate a charge for 2 chairs at 150 reais each" → generates a charge for 2 chairs with a total amount of R$300 (the system understands that "each" refers to the unit price and multiplies by the quantity). Charges with More Than One ItemA single message can also generate a charge with multiple products at the same time, either in natural language or structured format. The important thing is that each product has its name, quantity, and price identifiable in the message.Example in natural language:“I’ll generate a charge for 3 brigadeiros at 10 reais each, 2 chairs at 150 reais each via Pix.”This generates a charge with 3 brigadeiros (R$30) and 2 chairs (R$300), totaling R$330.Example in structured format:“Okay! I’ll generate the charge! Payment method: PIX Product: Coffee Price: R$6.00 Quantity: 1 Product: Brigadeiro Price: R$2.00 Quantity: 1”As with the simple trigger, there is no mandatory format; the system identifies each item's data regardless of order or exact formatting. If Any Information Is MissingIf a required piece of data (such as a product price) is missing, the system automatically notifies you and asks you to generate the charge again. These messages appear as if sent by you in the conversation, signaling that something needs to be corrected before trying to generate the trigger again, this time with all necessary data. When the price is missing:Oops, I forgot to provide the price! ⚠️ Just a moment, I’ll generate the charge again. This applies to both text and audio messages.Speeding Up Sending with WhatsApp Quick RepliesTo make sending the trigger even faster in daily use, you can use WhatsApp’s quick replies feature itself (activated by the "/" command in the chat). The idea is to register a message template with the trigger fields already structured, leaving only the values blank for you to fill in manually at the time of sending. This way, you don’t have to type the entire message every time.Example of a template to register as a quick reply:Okay! I’ll generate the charge! Total amount: Product: Payment method: Quantity:Status Update Is AutomaticAfter the payment component is displayed to the customer, the system automatically checks the payment status and updates the conversation by itself, without you needing to do anything.Notice: Do not update the status manually through the WhatsApp interface. The component displayed to you (merchant) shows a button to manually update the payment and order status. This button is a feature of WhatsApp itself and is not part of the solution. We recommend not using it: the payment component update is already automatic, and manual use may cause conflicting information about the payment. If the status is updated manually, this change does not reflect in the transaction recorded on the Dashboard and is not part of the automatic flow delivered by the solution. What Your Customer Receives AutomaticallyAfter the customer interacts with the payment component, the system checks the transaction status and sends a corresponding automatic message. See each scenario below:Payment approved: You can customize this message on the configuration screen made available after registration. If not customized, the flow uses the default message below: Payment confirmed! ✅ Please wait a moment while we continue your service. Payment declined: (more likely to happen with card payment)... Payment Declined! ❌ We were unable to process your payment. Please contact us to try again or choose another payment method. Payment processing: This scenario is rare since confirmation usually happens very quickly. Even so, if the payment is still processing at the time of verification, the customer receives: Payment processing! ⏳ Your payment is being processed. Once confirmed, you will receive an update here. Pending payment reminder: If the customer does not complete the payment within a few minutes after the component is displayed, the system automatically sends a reminder message encouraging them to complete the purchase: Your Pix code or payment link is above. If it has expired, please request another here. After the ChargeAfter completing a charge, you can generate new charges through a new trigger at any time, or simply continue the conversation normally with your customer. If there is no interaction within the wait time configured on the Blip Go portal, the conversation is automatically restarted and is again handled by the frequently asked questions assistant (FAQ).
