Make sure you have received the email from the implementation team with the initial guidelines. These guidelines, necessary for the activation of the WhatsApp channel, are sent by email to organizations that already have a Blip plan after initial contacts from the Onboarding team. Below is the step-by-step guide to filling out the form you received by email: Selecting the Chatbot ID Access the Blip Portal: 1. In the paying account of BLiP, you will need to create the chatbot in which we will activate the WhatsApp channel. To do this, click on "Create chatbot" or "Create router" according to your needs. Decide in advance which bot architecture you will use, i.e., decide if the chatbot will have human support so you can choose the correct template. If you have already created the chatbot previously, just collect the ID. 2. To collect the ID, access the chatbot where the WhatsApp activation will be carried out. The ID is just below the name of your chatbot: Collecting the Business Manager ID For the WhatsApp activation, you will need to provide the Facebook Business Manager ID (Facebook Business Manager or BM) of your company. Business Manager is a platform created by Facebook that allows you to manage all your Facebook tools (Instagram, ad account, etc.) from a single place, and the Business Manager ID is different from your Ad Manager ID. In Business Manager, you should collect the ID from the “Business Information”, menu, as shown below: Accessing Business Manager: 1. Access your page account; 2. Click on "More tools"; 3. Click on "Business settings"; 4. A new tab will open in your browser. Select the business you want to consult in the dropdown menu that appears in the top left corner; 5. After accessing the correct business, go to the “Business Information” menu and copy the ID that should be used to fill in the field: Accessing Business Manager from the Ad Account: 1. Access your page account; 2. Click on "Ads"; 3. Click on "Show more details in Ad Manager"; 4. A new tab will open in your browser, and you should click on the "Business tools" icon in the top left corner, then select "Business settings"; 5. On the next screen, access the business related to your company; 6. Then, access the “Business Information”, menu in the bottom left menu. The ID that should be provided in the form appears at the top, near the company name: If the company does not have a Business Manager: 1. Access here and click on "Create account": 2. On the next screen, fill out the form with your company's information. We suggest reading this article to accurately complete these fields. The account name should be the same as the Company's Legal Name or Trade Name. Provide your name and business email. 3. After creating the Business Manager, access your account and select the "Business settings" option. Then, access the “Business Information”, menu in the bottom left menu. The ID that should be provided in the form appears at the top, near the company name: Contact Name on WhatsApp API This is the name that will appear publicly on WhatsApp, becoming even more evident if your account becomes an official contact. Note: When defining the contact name on WhatsApp, it is ideal that the chosen name is the company name, as Facebook will validate if there is similarity between the company and the chosen name. If the chosen name is, for example, the name of a product, brand, or sector of your company, it is likely that a case will need to be opened with Facebook to prove the relationship between the product/company, which can make the process longer. To open this case, we will need evidence, which can include: trademark registration certificate (INPI), website showing the relationship between the product/company, etc. Also, check Facebook's guidelines for display names on the WhatsApp API. Contact Number on WhatsApp API Now, you must enter the complete number that we will activate in your chatbot: country code + area code + number (for example: +1 11 9 9999 9999). What numbers are allowed on WhatsApp Business API? Landlines, national, mobile numbers, and even toll-free numbers. For the selected phone number to be activated on the WhatsApp API, there are two prerequisites: The number must be enabled to receive an SMS or international call. If there is an IVR enabled, it must be temporarily disabled or have calls redirected to another extension where you can answer and receive the authentication code call from Facebook/WhatsApp during activation. What if the number is already on WhatsApp Messenger or WhatsApp Business? During activation, it will be necessary to delete the account, following the instructions in the Phone Number Migration section. Important: During the WhatsApp activation process on Blip, the number provided will receive a 6-digit token via international call or SMS. We will not make this call without your consent, so you will always be invited to schedule a meeting with the implementation team once the data has been released by Facebook. By default, toll-free numbers do not receive international calls – so, if you want to use one, a process with your operator will be necessary to enable this option. Tip: choose a number that is already linked to your company's brand. This way, customers will find your contact more easily. General Company Information Tax ID: must be the same as the one on the Blip contract Trade Name: name by which the company is known Company Facebook page: will likely be analyzed by Facebook to validate the company's brand/public presence Company website: will be used during the Company Verification process in Facebook Business Manager and is one of the criteria Facebook uses for validation Once the form is completed, our team will proceed with the creation of your company's WABA (WhatsApp Business Account).
