How to enable or disable story mentions in Instagram

This functionality is disabled by default. To enable the receipt of story mentions, you need to change the value of the EnableStoryMention key at the bot’s advanced settings. If the key does not appear in the advanced settings, just add a new key following the examples below, according to your preferences:

How to identify and treat messages from users that mention the brand in their own story

You can identify the messages from users that mention the brand in their own stories, allowing the brand to customize the chatbot’s flow according to your needs.

Important: before adjusting the settings, make sure if the story mentions are activated (see the section above).

In the content block you wish to verify, in the “Exit conditions” tab, set a new condition that will check if the message content is related to the story identifier in Instagram.

Example of how this exit condition would look like

In the example above, the message content sent by the user is being verified for the “text” attribute and for the “Instagram Story Mention” value, which identifies when a user mentions the brand in his/her own Instagram story, and if this condition is satisfied, the user is redirected to the “Story Interactions” block.

In the set variable:

⦁ input.content stores the message content sent by the user
⦁ @text is used to store the “text” attribute present in the message package, which, in the case of the

Story Mention, will always be the “Instagram Story Mention” value
