Presentation

The Migrate WhatsApp Number extension was developed by the company Blip. Currently, it is in version 1.0.0 and is available in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

This article aims to assist users of the Blip platform in installing, configuring and using the Migrate WhatsApp Number extension. In addition, any usage queries can be forwarded to support.

About the extension

The Migrate WhatsApp Number extension was developed with the aim of giving autonomy to the Blip user who has an activated WhatsApp channel and wants to migrate it to another smart contact that the user has administrator permissions and who is in the same contract.

Installation

When activating the extension through the Blip Store, it must be installed on the bot or router/router where WhatsApp is active. A list of Smart Contacts that the user is an admin and may be migrating will be displayed.

User manual

Step 1: Select the target smart contact and then click “Migrate” button.

Step 2: A confirmation screen will appear and must be confirmed to proceed with the migration.

Step 3: The message above will appear indicating the success of the operation.

Observation: This extension works for all types of contracts.

Dependencies

To use the Migrate WhatsApp Number extension, it is necessary that the user has a WhatsApp number activated in their source smart contact and does not have one in the destination, as well as being an administrator of both.
