Facebook Messenger (Guest Mode) January 31, 2024 12:10 Updated Index: Introduction How it works? Publication card on Proprietary Metrics Introduction See how Facebook Messenger's Guest Mode works with the launch of the chat plugin. Facebook has released the chat plugin, a new extension that, when installed on a website, allows visitors to send messages to the Facebook Messenger owned by the website's brand. Visitors without a social media account or those not connected to Facebook can still send messages through the chat. As the owner of the FB Messenger and the website, you can respond directly via inbox through STILINGUE Smart Care, and also view them in Proprietary Metrics. These visitors who sent messages through your website's chat in guest mode will appear as "guests" in the areas of Proprietary Metrics or STILINGUE Smart Care. This way, you expand the possibilities of engaging with visitors to your website, facilitating more personalized message exchanges, all managed from a single platform. How it works? Messages sent to your Facebook proprietary page through the Guest Mode appear in the inbox of your STILINGUE Smart Care, alongside other interactions. All Guest Mode conversations are labeled as Guest + number. User information is fully anonymized, and sentiment will be automatically classified. Conversations labeled as Guest Mode also receive the following illustrated message, "This guest conversation will be deactivated after 24 hours." All conversations via Guest Mode appear as regular inbox conversations and can be responded to and categorized in the same way as regular conversations - provided they are addressed within the 24 hours from the start of the conversation. After this 24-hour period, the text field will be locked, displaying the message as illustrated below: Important! If the conversation is concluded by the customer, it will no longer be possible to provide assistance. It is possible to change the status of conversations and also assign them to another respondent if necessary during your service operation. Note: Guest users will not display conversation history, as they are anonymous users. Publication card on Proprietary Metrics Guest interactions will also be displayed on publication cards in Proprietary Metrics, just like others, but with the user anonymized.
