Fan Base Evolution - Instagram

Track the growth of your page through the number of Instagram fans.

One way to understand the growth of your page is to know the number of new users who have started following and engaging with the content your brand posts on Instagram. 

Within the Proprietary Metrics section, on the side menu, click on "Fan Base Evolution", within the Publications Analysis section:

The presented chart will detail the development of your fan base within the selected period. 

Note: Fan Base Evolution will only be displayed after connecting to Instagram Business, meaning: once the page is connected, the total number of fans will be displayed in this area. It is important to note that if the proprietary page experiences authentication failures for more than 30 days, retroactive data will not be recovered, and the chart will not be updated.  

Ensure that the Business profile is active for the Evolution to be presented with the number of followers. 

Fan Base Evolution Chart

1. Chart period

Select how you want to view the information: by day, week, or month. 

2. Export Report

Export only the chart image, or choose another format below. You can also view export fields, divided by chart criteria. 

3. Reload card

Refresh the chart information so that the most recent data is displayed. 

4. Export Button

Export the chart by choosing between the image and various formats. 

5. Number of new fans

This metric is calculated by the sum of gains and losses of new fans. Example: if you gained 100 followers but lost 30, the number shown in New Fans will be 70 followers.

Observation: there may be a minimal variation in this value if there is a comparison between what is displayed on the social network and what is shown in this area. The frequency with which STILINGUE updates the data is higher than the social network's update frequency, hence the difference. 

6. Fan Base

Total number of Instagram users following your page. The fan base data also follows the filter period, meaning: if in the previous month your fan base had 5,000 users, and now it has 5,050, you had an increase of 50 users since the past date. 

7. Posts

Here, the number of posts made during the filter period is presented. 

Observation: you can click on any point on the graph and be redirected to the Zoom. This area will enlarge and show the graph data in detail. 

Important! Instagram Stories data are not displayed in Zoom but are shown in another area of the platform. Learn more about this feature in the guide.

You can choose which data you want to display and which ones to hide, making visualization easier. Simply click on the legend criteria; it will turn gray, and the other points will be highlighted.
