Installation and Configuration Usage Example Support Introduction The Braze Extension is an integration between the Blip and Braze platforms. With it, you connect Blip directly to your Braze automations for sending WhatsApp messages, providing more practicality and agility in contacting your customers and increasing engagement. How does it work? The Braze Extension offers the following functionalities: Automation via Campaign Webhook Automation via Canvas Webhook Installation and Configuration Extension InstallationTo use the extension, first install it in your Blip environment via the Blip Store. How to create the Braze API Token and REST EndpointTo activate the extension, we will create the API Token. Access Braze and log into your account. Select the "Settings" option in the left-hand menu. It has the symbol of a gear. Then, click on "Settings" and select the "APIs and Identifiers" option. Click the "Create API Key" button on the right-hand side. Select a name for the "API key name," such as "Blip." Below, you will be able to see the entire list of permissions. Enable the permissions for: "Catalogs," "User Data," "Purchases," "Subscription," and "Custom Attributes." After that, click the "Create API key" button in the bottom right corner. Done! Your API Token has been created. To copy it, click the "Copy" button with the "Copy" icon in the "Identifier" column. Now let's configure the REST Endpoint. To obtain it, you need to identify which instance is being used. Check the top of your page to see your URL (this is the same one used to log into the Braze site). For this tutorial, the example URL is: "https://dashboard-07.braze.com." Then, check Braze's documentation and refer to the table to find the REST Endpoint corresponding to your Dashboard URL and copy it. Ready! You will have your REST Endpoint.Attention! Check the documentation link: https://www.braze.com/docs/api/basics#endpoints Activating the Extension in BlipTo activate the extension, go to the plugin in Blip and fill in your REST Endpoint and the API Token from your Braze account. Click the "Save" button to activate it. Usage Example To automate and send active messages on WhatsApp between Blip and Braze, the process is simple and does not require programming knowledge. Just create the Webhook URL.To do this, go to the Blip platform and select the "WhatsApp Automation" option.Click on "Select Template" to choose the template of the active message you want to send. After selecting the desired template, if you want to position the user in the bot, select the option and define the location where the user will be placed. As shown in the following examples. If you do not want to position the user and only notify them, simply leave the positioning disabled. Once done, click "Save".Then, you will be redirected to the "Install Automation" step. At this stage, you will be prompted to log in to your Braze account.Go to the "Messaging" menu and select the "Campaign" option. In this step, you will create the campaign for the "Webhook" and "Canvas" channels. Done! Now you can set up your automation in Braze and take advantage of all the available features.
