Introduction

How does it work? 

The Blip Desk Contact Editor extension offers the following functionality: 

     • Edit, delete, and add customer information during service in Blip Desk.

Installation and Configuration

First, log in to the Blip platform and access the Blip Store.

Then, search for the Blip Desk Contact Editor extension. Install the extension on the desired service bot.

Installing the extension in Google Chrome

Go to the Blip Store. Then, click the three dots in the upper-right corner. Search for the "Blip Desk Contact Editor" extension

 

Then, click on "Enable plugin."

 

 

It is also necessary to install the extension in Google Chrome. To do this, click on the indicated area on the website, and you will be redirected to the Chrome Web Store page. On the page, click "Add to Chrome" to proceed with the installation.

 

Attention! All agents who will use the extension in the chatbot need to install this extension in Chrome.

Go to Blip Desk and check if the extension was installed correctly.

Usage Examples

Managing customer contacts efficiently is essential to ensure quality and personalized service. Our extension simplifies this process by allowing you to edit and add information directly in the Builder. This way, you can keep customer data always updated, optimizing communication and providing a faster and more efficient experience.

Editing contact names
After installing the extension in Blip and the Google Web Store, you should access Blip Desk.

Click on one of your tickets.

On the right side of the screen, you will see "Contact Data."

Click on the "Information" button.

Clicking will display the editing screen with the fields: Name, Email, Phone, City, and the option "Add a new extra value."

Done! Now you can edit your contacts.

Adding new values
Adding new values to your contact is a simple and straightforward process. Just access the "Contact Data" panel. Within the panel, find the option "Add a new extra value" and click on it. Then, add the values you consider necessary to enhance the service.

Your extension is now ready to be used!
