How to retrieve information from a WABA outside Blip Business Manager June 16, 2023 15:47 Updated Index: Prerequisites Chatbot settings Advanced chatbot settings Business System User Access Token WhatsApp Business Account ID If your WABA (WhatsApp Business Account) is outside Blip Business Manager, learn how to set it up in Blip and have access to features such as message templates for notifications, as well as consult WABA number and information. Prerequisites Before you start, have the information needed to configure your WABA. They are: Business System User Access Token WhatsApp Business Account Id All the previous information, necessary for the configuration of your WABA, is found on your company's Facebook Business Manager page. A warning: only Business Manager administrators will have access to this data. Chatbot settings With the necessary information, access the Blip portal, choose the chatbot that is integrated with WhatsApp and click on the settings tab. Advanced chatbot settings Right after entering the chatbot settings tab, go to the bottom of the page and click: “Click here to access advanced settings” Clicking to access, the advanced chatbot settings will pop up on the screen asking if you are sure you want to continue. Click "continue". Note: Keep in mind that changes to the advanced settings of the chatbot may leave it unavailable. So make sure that the data you want to change is exactly your WABA data. Business System User Access Token On the advanced settings page of your chatbot, click on the “add” button in the upper right corner of the screen to enter your company's Business System User Access Token number. Soon after, three fields will be displayed: domain, key and value. You must enter the following information: Domain: postmaster@wa.gw.msging.net Key: BusinessSystemUserAccessToken The value field must be filled in with your company's Business System User Access Token number. After filling in all fields, hit enter to save your information. Attention: Make sure your bot already has a Business System User Access Token number before entering this data. If your bot already has this data configured, you can change it. Find it in the settings list and click the edit button (the gray pencil icon next to it) and enter your company's Business System User Access Token. WhatsApp Business Account ID This is the last step in the process, you must change the WhatsApp Business Account ID number to your company number. The WABA ID information is the last one in the list, find it and click on the edit button which is the gray pencil icon next to it. After entering your company's WABA ID, hit enter to save. There, your WABA is already configured in Blip. To test that everything is working correctly, check if the message templates created in your WABA are listed in Blip on the message templates screen.
