Introduction

Some STILINGUE customer support requests indicate display issues or errors when performing actions on the platform. In these situations, it's a good idea to check the version of the browser, as the issue may be related to a specific version used by the user. 

To perform this check in your Google Chrome browser, follow the steps below:

1. Copy the following link: chrome://settings/help, paste it into the address bar of Google Chrome, and press "Enter":

2. The complete build (version) is designated by a sequence of numbers. The first two numbers in the sequence indicate the current version number - in this example, we are in version 85:

3. In the attachment to the contract, we request that Google Chrome always be kept up to date to avoid unexpected behaviors from older versions.

How do I update my browser?

Updating the browser differs depending on the user's operating system:

Windows/Mac OS

1. Open Google Chrome on your computer. With the browser open, click on the three stacked dots at the top right of the screen. Select “Help” in the side menu and click on “About Google Chrome” or access the link chrome://settings/help:

2. A new page will open with information about the current version of Chrome. This update process is automatic: if there is a new version available for download, the browser will display the message “Updating” just above the version number. 

The following message will indicate that the browser has been updated:

Linux

On Linux, Google Chrome updates automatically through application updates whenever a new version is available.

However, some users may use company-managed computers where updates and new installations cannot be performed by the user due to security restrictions. In these cases, we recommend that the user contact the company's IT team to perform the update.
