STILINGUE and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) May 06, 2024 14:38 Updated Index: Introduction Useful Links and Information Introduction STILINGUE has been preparing for compliance with the General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais or LGPD) even before its implementation in September 2020. Our commitment is to align with this law to ensure the security of personal data for our clients and users. The LGPD encompasses various guidelines aimed at protecting the personal data of Brazilian citizens, whether it is processed online or offline. As our client, it's important for you to understand how this law impacts the collection of personal data captured from Connected Services (Social Media). This data is collected based on the client's research settings and decisions. In the relationship between the Client and STILINGUE, STILINGUE acts as the Operator. To ensure the usability of the platform, STILINGUE has access to the name and email of the client's employee who has access to the platform. Such data is necessary to provide access and ensure the security of STILINGUE accounts. In this case, STILINGUE is qualified as the Controller. With the LGPD regulations in place, we have made it clearer which personal data is collected and for what specific purposes each of them is used. These data are used solely and exclusively for security purposes, ensuring the availability of all functionalities, and providing any necessary support during the use of the STILINGUE platform. Useful Links and Information As part of our LGPD compliance process, STILINGUE has included data usage authorization notices to ensure that users are aware of and accept all terms when accessing and loging into the platform. Additional information and definitions regarding the use of the platform can be found in our complete Terms of Use (https://stilingue.com.br/termos-de-uso/) or requested from your legal team. We have also provided the Platform Privacy Policy on our website and in the navigation menu. This document outlines the policy aspects and purposes of the platform, as well as the rights of data subjects and how to contact the Data Protection Officer (DPO), among other important information. If it is necessary to contact STILINGUE's Legal department, please send an email to: juridico@stilingue.com.br (we kindly request that you copy your Customer Success representative for better follow-up).
