Best practices for using My Connections April 26, 2024 15:21 Updated Index: Introduction Token Monitoring Introduction Avoid issues with the connection of your proprietary pages connected to STILINGUE. The "My Connections" section is located in the upper right corner within the War-Room. When you access it, you can view your proprietary pages connected to the platform and also establish new connections. Furthermore, you can identify if the token for your page has expired or if there is an Authentication Failure. Token Monitoring There are other ways to monitor expired tokens and Authentication Failures before these problems even occur. Check the following: 1. Triggering Alert Emails Whenever a social network's token is close to expiration or when there is an authentication failure on proprietary pages, an automatic email is sent to the user with master access to the account. Therefore, pay attention to these emails, as both cases significantly impact the data collection for the dashboard. 2. Check permissions and prerequisites Before connecting proprietary pages, it's important to pay attention to: 2.1. Prerequisites for each social network: Instagram must be a business account; Instagram must be linked to the Facebook page that will be connected; YouTube channel must post videos in public format. 2.2. Verify permissions according to the social network: Have administrator/master access to STILINGUE for any social network; Administrator access to the Instagram Business Manager; The administrator connecting proprietary pages must have access to the advertising account that runs dark posts; For LinkedIn, you need administrator access and access to the advertising account of the business page; To connect to YouTube, you need to be the primary owner or owner within the channel. If the current administrator of the Facebook Business Manager with access to the advertising account loses this access, it's important to replace them. In this way, the new administrator must update the connections of the proprietary pages. Additionally, if the administrator user changes their personal password on social networks, they must also update the token in STILINGUE. 3. Check if two-factor authentication is required. If the answer is affirmative, it's necessary to handle this internally, since the STILINGUE support team cannot intervene at this point. 4. Be logged in on all networks at the time of the connection. Ensure that you are not logged into your personal accounts, but rather those associated with the brand. 5. Stay vigilant for expired tokens and/or authentication failures. In the last case, return to step 3, as reconnection will be necessary. 6. Avoid logging into third-party accounts. The same email used for STILINGUE needs to have access to the networks. 7. Avoid removing the page from the platform to reconnect it. If there is a link failure and the connection is not immediately re-established, the data from proprietary pages will begin to be deleted from the platform. After 48 hours of pages being disconnected, it's not possible to recover all the data, even through a retroactive service.
