Understand how to use Twitter to collect relevant information within your dashboard 

What is an API?

The acronym API stands for "Application Programming Interface". It is a programming routine that allows access to information and system integrations on the internet, with security and ease of connection. In other words, through the API, it is possible to collect information from Twitter with credibility and speed. 

Twitter provides three APIs with different access formats and distinct collection possibilities:

Standard API

This search API delivers the number of followers, the number of retweets, and the likes of the collected posts in the dashboard. The collection made by this API is sampled within the War-Room STILINGUE. 

Premium API

The Premium API makes it easier to search for more data than the Standard API, also bringing a greater number of requests. This API is not used by STILINGUE for Twitter collections. 

Enterprise API (or Twitter Power Track)

Power Track delivers the number of followers, the number of retweets, and the likes on the collected posts. 

To find out how the service can be included in the War-Room Stilingue, send a message to your account's success manager, responsible for overseeing the setup of this type of collection.
