Configuration - Twitter Enterprise February 17, 2025 13:06 Updated Index: What is Terms Operator Learn how to configure Twitter Enterprise in your search and start boosting your data collection with a higher volume in near real-time. What is it? The Twitter Enterprise API (or Twitter Power Track) is an exclusive service for collecting posts that helps you make informed business decisions by providing large-scale brand visibility. The advantage of using this service is the ability to collect 100% of Twitter's data in real-time. To learn more about the SLA for this collection, click here. To begin the setup, access the Edit Search menu: After opening the Search Settings, create a specific group to include the terms related to the Twitter Enterprise collection. The collection API will be activated in these groups created by you. To make it easier to track data collection and manage terms, it is recommended that you name the group as "Twitter Enterprise" or "Twitter Power Track." For the collection to take place, the selected groups must have the suffix " TENT" (space + TENT), for example, "Group 1 TENT." A useful tip is to include in the selected groups the descriptors (terms) you want to exclude from the collection. These descriptors do not impact your collection limit and improve process efficiency by filtering directly in the API, preventing your limit from being consumed by irrelevant data. Attention! The Twitter Enterprise subscription includes 30 descriptors and a maximum volume of 1 million posts. Therefore, if you register more than 30 terms, the excess will be ignored. The Enterprise collection will only process the first 30 registered terms. Note: Stilingue Eyes does not work with data collection via Twitter Enterprise. The collection is activated only by the keywords registered in the groups. Therefore, images will not have text transcription. Note 2: The group designated as Twitter Enterprise is a standard collection group within the search configuration. However, after being contracted with the account, the API will be activated for data collection. This means that if the terms in this group appear in posts from other channels besides Twitter, those posts will also be collected there. You can use the filter in the Publication Wall to view only the Twitter Enterprise collection. Attention! The indicated volume of descriptors in this group must be appropriate for the contracted package limit. If additional terms are added, only the first ones from the package will be considered in the collection. Note: The group referred to as Twitter Enterprise is a standard collection group in the search configuration, with the exception that after being contracted with your account success manager, the API for collection will be activated. This means that if the terms in this group are identified in publications on channels other than Twitter, the publications will also be collected there. You can use the filter in the Publication Wall to view only the Twitter Enterprise collection. Terms Terms are the keywords configured in your search monitoring. The descriptor count is done in the order of introduction, from the first descriptors to the last. Next, what is allowed for Twitter Enterprise collection is identified. 1. Simple terms “Cup”, “World Cup”, “Brazil” 2. Operator "and" (&&) The "and" operator (&&) is used between terms to combine specific words that should be collected together. “Cup&&Brazil,” “Cup&&Goal” 3. Mention Reference to a specific profile and tracking hashtags. In this case, simply write the Twitter handle after the "twitter:" operator: “twitter:neymarjr” 4. Hashtags To track hashtags, simply add them as usual, as shown in the example below: “#bomdebola” “#jogador” Note: the combination of a mention and a new term can also be used: “twitter:neymarjr&&cup” Other traditional commands such as "context:" and "exactly" will not trigger searches involving Twitter Enterprise. These terms will be considered invalid in the search, so they will not collect publications. Note: the command -exactly:@fifa is considered for Twitter Enterprise, only for classification and not for collection. It is important to remember that invalid terms will be counted within the limit of the contracted package, so only use combinations involving the operators mentioned in the previous examples to always have valid terms and bring accuracy to your research collection. Tweets and retweets (only for searches that have this type of collection activated) will be collected from the moment the term is registered to be monitored.
