Metrics Proprietaries STILINGUE Smart Care Limitations Track Reels metrics on Instagram through STILINGUE and engage with more users from your proprietary page. What is it? Reels is a feature developed by Instagram where you can create and edit short videos with creative effects (such as using music, filters, doing lip syncs, etc.) recorded in vertical format. The sequence of scenes is compiled into a final video, easily produced by the user. Once you start publishing Reels on your page, it offers an additional engagement option for your users, requiring additional monitoring. In addition to offering this feature through Instagram, within STILINGUE, you can track metrics like interactions, reach, and other graphs available in the Proprietary Metrics module and other areas. How to Start Collecting? If you haven't connected any Instagram Business profiles to STILINGUE yet, access the guide to learn more about this option and start collecting proprietary posts. After adding one or more Instagram pages connected to the platform, you'll be able to collect Reels format posts. Here are the platform areas where you can locate Reels: Listening (open sea) Collection sources: Business Discovery; Hashtags; Influencer collection* *Access the guide to understand how influencer collection works on STILINGUE. In this specific case, Reels might also be included in the search if you have the Business profile registered in your configuration. If you use Instagram's Hashtag Search or Business Discovery to collect posts from other accounts, the Reels from those accounts will also be collected. You can locate these posts using filters (see the image below for how these posts are differentiated). Furthermore, you can create a Conversation Filter within the Listening Post Board. The Listening area allows analysis of organic posts collected in the open sea. However, by selecting the Conversation Filter option, you change the setting to only show interactions from proprietary pages. To view Reels, you need to select one or more Instagram pages and choose Reels as an interaction type: You can also apply the same filter in the Sort area. The post will be displayed with a different icon from other Instagram posts. The Reels icon is indicated in the image: Metrics Proprietaries Collection sources: Proprietary posts; Mentions of the proprietary page in public profiles (photo/video); Comments; Tags. Select an Instagram page to access the Reels graph, with data on views, comments, and more. In the Overview, Reels-specific metrics are displayed in the Overview and Reach Over Time sections: Overview: Reach Over Time: In the "Posts" section, you can track cards with standard Instagram posts and also display Reels with the same icon shown in the Listening area. Tags: Tags on Reels can be viewed in this area: Here's an example of how it will appear, with the Reels icon on the post. Note: In some cases, a Reels post can be collected as a common post because it's present in both the posts and Reels tabs on Instagram. This happens because Meta sends us the post via the API containing a parameter that indicates whether that media is a regular post or a Reels, and we don't have the ability to choose how that media will be classified, so the classification of the post type is up to Meta's discretion. STILINGUE Smart Care Collection sources: Mentions of the proprietary page in public profiles (photo/video); Comments; Tags (only accessed through the Proprietary Metrics module). "Comments", "mentions", and "comments on mentions" from a Reels post can be responded to by STILINGUE Smart Care. Currently, it's not possible to filter proprietary interactions in Reels format in the Conversation Filter of this area. To locate the Reels post, you should access the main post in the "Post" field on the right sidebar and click on "Read full post": Limitations Retrospective collection: Reels (along with IGTVs and other posts) will be collected for up to 30 days (within the limit of 100 posts); Due to API limitations, the collection of collaborative posts—also known as collabs—cannot be guaranteed. Currently, there is a limitation regarding the collection of Reels-format advertisements, so only organic Reels and their comments are collected. Due to API limitations, Instagram does not provide impression metrics for Reels, only reach metrics.
