Overview

Learn how to connect your WhatsApp Business number to your Facebook Business Page. This integration allows you to set WhatsApp as your brand's official contact, promote your smart contact, and enable the creation of Click To WhatsApp ads on Facebook and Instagram. This makes it possible to direct interested customers straight to your smart contact with one click.

Before you begin

  • Have Administrator access to the Facebook Page you want to link.

  • Have Administrator access to the Business Manager (Facebook Business Manager) associated with your Page (if the Page is linked to a Business Manager).

 

Step-by-step instructions to connect your WhatsApp number to your Facebook Page

  1. Access your Facebook Business Page: Go to the Facebook Page to which you want to connect your WhatsApp number.

  2. Access the Page settings: In the menu on the left, click the Settings option.

  1. Access linked accounts: In the settings menu, click Linked accounts. On the next screen, select the WhatsApp option.

  1. Enter the WhatsApp number: Enter the WhatsApp phone number you want to connect to the Page and click the Send WhatsApp code button.

  1. Access the Access Request in the Business Portfolio
    After confirming the number, access the Meta Business Portfolio to check for pending access requests. Go to the Requests menu in the Business Portfolio or select Requests from the menu on the left. Then:

    • Click Needs review to view the details.

    • Locate the pending request.

    • Click Respond.

  1. Approve the request: After reviewing all the request details, click the Approve button.

  • Validation: Confirm that the confirmation message indicating that the request was accepted is displayed on the screen.

Done! Your WhatsApp Business number is now connected to your Facebook Page and ready to be used in your strategies and ads.
