Introduction

Understand how to connect your Facebook pages.

The connection of your proprietary pages is done in My Connections. In the tabs in this section, you will find more information on how to access this area and the connection options for different social networks. In this guide, we will specifically discuss Facebook.

To connect your proprietary page, go to the Menu located in the upper right corner, click on "My Connections," and wait for the Proprietary Connection Management screen to appear. 

Facebook Permissions

Before you begin, it's necessary for you or the responsible user on your team to ensure they have the required permissions within the page. In brief, Facebook offers a set of permission levels so that users with different roles can manage a proprietary page: administrator, editor, moderator, advertiser, etc. 

Only users with Administrator permission on the proprietary page have the necessary authorization to connect the page to STILINGUE. For more information, please refer to this link on Facebook permissions.

In addition, the user performing the connection must have access to the ads accounts (advertisement accounts) of the page for dark posts to be collected successfully. This same user should also perform token renewals (every 90 days) and page authentication when necessary. The renewal/authentication process is a social network guarantee to validate the user's and tool's access to the page.
Another necessary requirement is that the Facebook page and ad account must be in the same business configuration. 

To access the page, go to Business Setup and log in with your account. If you have more than one ad account, select the desired option:

Important: The person making the connection also needs to have administrator access within the Business Configuration.

Connecting the Page

On the Connections Management screen, you can view all proprietary channels that can be integrated with the tool. Connected pages are also available in this area if they exist. To connect your page, click on the Facebook icon and go to the Add Connection box. 

A new window will open listing all the pages you have access to on Facebook. To establish the connection, click on Activate next to the desired page. Upon completion, the list will display the page as already connected. This process can be done to connect other available pages in your list if necessary.

The connected page becomes available as a card within the Owned Connections Management. After completing this step, it is necessary to activate the card related to your page.

To access the data within the tool, the page must be linked to an existing survey. Inside the card, select the desired survey, click OK, and activate the button in the right corner (the color will change from gray to green). By following these steps, you ensure that the data collection from the page is carried out correctly.

Note: Pay attention to the green notifications in the bottom right corner of the screen. They indicate that the actions have been successfully completed.
